Lewis not one of the top 25 players in B1G according to Scouts, Inc
Maybe this could be a sign he's not rating highly on prospective NFL draft boards? Or is it yet another indicator that most NFL scout types don't actually watch college football (please also see Todd McShay's predraft scouting of Mike Martin)?

The list isn't actually one for the NFL, it's for "if you needed to win a college football game this Saturday, which B1G players would you want on your team?"
Now, having said that, it's Scouts Inc that's creating the list and I'm sure it's hard to take the "scouting for NFL purposes" glasses off here.

on the BTN Live show last night, they had some guy on who supposedly has knowledge of players likely to be drafted by the NFL. He compared UofM and MSU. Both had 6 or 7 draft likely players. I think Peppers was the first UofM player given a 2nd/3rd round grade followed by De'Veon Smith. Butt was in the top 6. I can't remember who else was listed, maybe Morgan in the 7th round. Jourdan Lewis wasn't even listed. It was a strange list. He was really high on Joe Bolden. It was completely opposite to what I read here on MGoBlog.

Didn't you realize from October-December of 2014 that you should trust this site far more than any national reporters on all matters Michigan related?

It's been pretty obvious how bad most season previews are for most of the time that I've been reading this blog.

based on Draftageddon rankings is the undrafted Nick Van Hoose.
The highest rated QB in the Big Ten is Rutgers Nick Laviano. He's 21st in the nation with a 153.9 rating, seven spots ahead of Connor Cook at 151.0.

I'm not saying Bolden should go really high, all I'm saying with Bolden is that if he played consistently in the way he flashes, he would be a day 2 pick. He shows his size, speed, power at times, and it's really impressive. He's just completely inconsistent in how he uses it. He's a guy that could potentially be a player, but it's going to need to click really soon (either this year or in his first year or two in the NFL before he's out of football for good).

totally agree. boldens issue is hes been on the verge of turning that corner for some time and turning those 10-15 snaps into the consistent 60-70 snaps expected of great LBs. hes got size, he can move (decent enough), he obviously loves football and is willing to study and work at it, hes just been inconstent.
hell absolutely get a solid look at the next level, as will morgan, but hes gonna have to take the next step in order to stick around and make it a career (bc hes not the freakish athlete teams hope to mold into a player, athletes of his caliber must be consistent and 100% reliable in order to stick in the nfl)

Bolden has the measureables and athleticism. I wouldn't be THAT surprised. Draftniks love those guys.

I don't have Insider, are there any defensive backs that are on that list?

Redshirt Lewis. He, all of people, can use the seasoning. Hasn't shown anything NFL-worthy on the field this year.
NOTHING TO SEE HERE NFL SCOUTS. YOU GO AWAY NOW.

It article specifically says that the purpose is not for the NFL draft. However, it is still unbelievable tht he wouldn't be in the top 5-10 of Big Ten players no matter what the purpose.

Scouts Inc. are not watching as much Big Ten/Michigan tape as PFF, MGoBlog, or others. That's the only explanation.

So the guy built a famous tunnel and invented 5 cents. Big deal.
In the 1930's the country sported hundreds of magic little hamlets called "Hoovervilles".
Now that's acheivment!
