Please describe what happened in the Lions game LOL

This Lions team is Shit. Same old Lions: Individual pieces, poor coaching, no leadership. Statsford is so overrated its ridiculous.
If/When they lose this game...it will be tough to rebound and make the playoffs. Teams that start 0-2 miss the playoffs 85% of the time.

San Francisco getting absolutely railed in Pittsburgh. Maybe Harbaugh wasn't such a terrible coach??
September 20th, 2015 at 2:33 PM ^
Yeah...it's definitely been a rough first half. The pass defense is getting picked apart, and the offense is struggling to sustain drives.
Last week, SF owned Minnesota because they completely controlled the line of scrimmage and could dictate the tempo of the game. Unfortunately, given the current deficit, SF is going to have to pass all second half, which is not ideal. Could be a loooooong afternoon for Niners' fans.

Rebound game for SF, cross-country flight with time zone changes, Pittsburg motivated after the week 1 losss... and SF coming back down to Earth.

I'm enjoying the 49ers being destroyed

Commence Redskins second half meltdown, now!

I've about had it with Lombardi and his Saints.

Julian and Amendola are so good in space and the Pats are killing the Bills. I love to hear Rex Ryan and his followers talk so much trash and then get destroyed.
September 20th, 2015 at 3:01 PM ^
This is an extremely poorly coached team.
September 20th, 2015 at 3:03 PM ^
At this level, is lining up offside really on the coaches? Maybe Jones is just an idiot.
September 20th, 2015 at 3:04 PM ^
Just as it is at the collegiate level.
Michigan has a better NFL coach than the Lions do.
September 20th, 2015 at 3:12 PM ^
Michigan can claim the same over all but maybe 5 teams in the NFL and 5 would be the maiximum.
September 20th, 2015 at 3:14 PM ^
has a good coach.
September 20th, 2015 at 3:01 PM ^
Love my Lions...always doing something stupid.
September 20th, 2015 at 3:06 PM ^
I don't know how I do it every year, being a Lions fan. The struggle is real.
September 20th, 2015 at 3:09 PM ^
Jesus fucking christ
September 20th, 2015 at 3:11 PM ^
Awesome job, Niners. Great drive down the field; four cracks at the endzone within the 3-yard line; two stalled runs straight up the middle; a throw away pass; and, a drop in the endzone on fourth down. Guh.

The Lions are arguably the most poorly run team in all of sports. Third least valuable team in the NFL despite having a beautiful stadium and a legion of fans. That about says it all.

That is all for now.
September 20th, 2015 at 3:44 PM ^
It's obvious this team is going no where. The Ford should fire Mayhew tomorrow and start a new GM search ASAP. He has proven that he can't build a consistent winner.
September 20th, 2015 at 3:46 PM ^
or even target him and if he is double team, to find someone else to throw too. You have Johnson and mother fucking Golden Tate and can't move the fucking ball. Pathetic.
September 20th, 2015 at 3:46 PM ^
That deep ball to Calvin looked like a wounded duck, I wonder if Stafford is hurt and they aren't letting us know about it?
September 20th, 2015 at 3:52 PM ^
The Vikings have nothing at WR and Peterson fumbles far too much. The Lions and Bears are top-10-pick bad teams.

He wasn't good at Wake or in Indy. He rode the coatails of Manning to a Super Bowl. He has to go as well.

They can beat the Vikings at home. The Vikes are meh.

I left Larry Fitzgerald on my bench. Awesome.
September 20th, 2015 at 4:14 PM ^
Dion Lewis was my mistake, bench-wise.
September 20th, 2015 at 4:15 PM ^
Truly amazing.
September 20th, 2015 at 4:15 PM ^
The O-Line is much worse than they should be, just getting abused every play and making Stafford take far too many hits.
September 20th, 2015 at 4:19 PM ^
The defense is much worse than what it was a year ago. The playcalling is also bad.
Caldwell completely screwed up this offense. He never should have hired Lombardi and changed what the Lions were running. Stafford is a down the field passer. He isn't Brees and never will be.
Meanwhile, Mayhew's insistence on going with aged defensive players and his poor drafting has killed the Lions. He needs to go before anyone else. Just a bad GM.
September 20th, 2015 at 4:25 PM ^
I couldn't understand promoting Mayhew when they finally got rid of Millen. No matter how people perceived he would be, he was part of the most inept front office in Lions history and that is saying a lot.
The Lions will remain inept until new ownership takes over.
September 20th, 2015 at 4:16 PM ^
Can we fire Lombardi now?
September 20th, 2015 at 4:16 PM ^
Go Lions.
