Worked out for Washington when they met Nebraska again in the Holiday Bowl after losing during the regular season in 2010.

I am just impressed that bowl season will - in a few more years of expansion - back up to conference finals. Hopefully that means the committee will take ability to get a direct flight and hours since last game into consideration in the selections as well.
Obviously, early season bowl projections are more for generating discussion than they are about actual results, but part of me would not be averse to a Michigan / LSU matchup if it ever happened in a bowl game. I think there would be some intrigue around that one.

The Holiday Bowl is OK, but not if we end up playing Utah again. That's got no juice at all. Much rather play Georgia or LSU.

..they would be all be great New Years Day bowl type games...yes I know the Holiday Bowl isnt on New Years but its a quality bowl destination
