Do you see Peppers in wildcat formation this year?

why risk a knee injury coming off the ednge of the line with backs blitzing on your best defensive player.
We tried having a RB/Athlete at Qb for about 3 years a little while ago and I'm damn glad it's over.

Actually, the answer to the second question is "yes."
it seems that Peppers will snap the ball to himself, lob it downfield, beat 11 defenders to his own thrown ball and dive into the endzone making a spectacular one handed grab in the back of the endzone.
Oh, and then he'll play defense all game too...lol

I think the wild-cat kinda played itself out...especially in the pros. Without a true threat to pass, it is easy to stop a run by selling out. I hope they are more creative than that. Ok once in a while, but don't overdo it.
99% of the time it's incredibly obvious what's about to happen. Like when Justin Feagin would come in the game or a few times when Denard was injured IIRC
Everyone in the world (but the OC apparently) knows exactly what's about to happen
While I agree somewhat, the purpose is to get an extra blocker and/or run an option that makes a defender wrong regardless of what he does. There's not a whole lot of secrecy about Paul Johnson's offense, either, but the offense works. I think the Wildcat can be effective in small doses.
I think that is an unfair comparison. Wildcat, where the running back picks a hole or follows a blocker. MAYBE a hand-off option. The option scheme, on the otherhand, is precision at its best. Timing, spacing, and numerous options are available at all times. Furthermore, an option QB can still throw the ball, and even if there not the best passer, you still need to respect that option.
Overall, the comparison between an offense that over time is rarely ineffective (even with average athletes) and a heavily predictable running package, is not sound.

And, yes. He did play QB at times in HS. I thought everyone knew that.

They even used him to run the wildcat in the Army All American game in high school.

No, sometimes they are firemen or opioid addicts.
Gets old how someone can't make a comment about something and the post has to be criticized in some sort of fashion..

dipshit. Get it right.
and this thread set up a discussion about the football team. Instead of being an internet brat, contribute or don't post over and over (the internet equivalent of a tantrum).

Do you feel good about this comment?
The king in yellow is in a shade of maize even Adidas wouldn't come up with!
You can argue until you're blue in the face... and neck... and chest... and arms, but you won't convince me otherwise.

Only if we scrimmage a HS team that is incapable of tackling... so, UNLV maybe?
Wait a second, I thought UNLV was the scrimmage. Did I misread the schedule? I may have.
To be fair, they did have to reach out to Gorman Thomas to get their current coach, I believe, so it is almost the same in a way.
