I didn't say anything about Germany (who have done much as the same as the US). It's been an entertaining game, but not necessarily a good game.
USA have been clearly the better team in all aspects and controlled much more of the game.
They had a chance to set something up, instead they chuck up a garbage shot from way outside the box.

I have to say that I have been trashing on her as I've watched the last couple games. I thought she had been really clumsy and slow on the ball, but I take it all back. She played a beautiful game tonight and did a ton to drive the attack. She also was totally relentless in pressuring the German backline, while still covering back a bit. Bravo Carli!
