Grant Perry has decommited from Northwestern
After careful consideration & prayers, I have decommitted from Northwestern. I have great respect for NW and what they have done for me.

I prefer this version of Shermans reaction.

I like the fact that he talked to the Northwestern coaches before, and made that an emphasis. Classy kid, will fit in perfect.

Seems like a similar prospect to Burnett...
Nonetheless, GO BLUE...can't wait until Wednesday.

Well, he decommitted from Northwestern, so I'd say it's committable...

I was/am hoping for a guy who can be a deep threat since Canteen hasn't shown anything and Drake Harris is constantly injured. Perry isn't that guy, but I do think he can be a possession guy for Michigan and shake loose on some short routes, crossing routes, etc. I think someone like Perry is about what you can reasonably expect at this point with the coaching change and such, whereas getting someone like a Van Jefferson could be a significant recruiting win that might not happen without a rock star coaching hire.

Do you think he's a Jeremy Gallon or a Drew Dileo? Or . . . ?

I have never understood non-commitable offers. If you offer a kid a scholarship, then they should have the right to commit whenever they want. If it's a "you're next on the list if we miss on our other targets", then just call it that. I mean, you are waitlisted at colleges, doesn't mean you can say you're going to the school yet.

It seems like Coach Harbaugh has given a few "non-commitable" offers, like Jake Pickard. Can anyone confirm that? I don't recall Coach Carr or Coach Hoke giving such offers--did they?

Van Jefferson not coming?
February 2nd, 2015 at 8:21 PM ^
Don't think it has anything to do with Jefferson. He would've likely publically reaffirmed to Ole Miss if he knew for sure what he was doing.

Officially deciding tomorrow
Grant Perry just told me he has NOT officially committed to #Michigan. Says he will "decide" tomorrow

But we already know what the end result will be...

That's cute. He just decommited from his second best offer on his sheet. A day after getting the first best. And all the rest are MAC.
Sleep on it son. ;)

If one more reporter leaks a commitment I am going to lose my shit. This recruiting cycle has been infuriating.

These should be a well earned honor to announce at their choosing for these kids. The fan bases are partly to blame for this mess too. It's getting out of control.
