OT: Friday afternoon/night drinking thread.
This being my first MGoBlog thread, and being I'm very good at drinking, I thought I'd make a drinking thread.
First off, a "neat story bro." I was in grad school at Berkely and was walking down Haight (yes, that Haight in San Fran) with my wife. Of course I was maize and blue head to toe. A woman in her 50's-60's in an easily $3000 suit was walking towards me. As soon as she saw me she stopped and yelled "GO BLUE! BEAT THOSE BUCKS!" then high fived me and went on her way. Anyhoo.
I worked until 9pm last night so I got off work at noon and started the day with a Short's Soft Parade. I know it is out of season but damn it tates good with lunch (Erbelli's pizza). Since I got home I have been imbibing Bell's HopSlam with some Old Speckled Hen tossed in there. Chasing my beer with Grey Goose (always stored freezer) and room temp. Crown Royal.
What're you drinking tonight? I need some ideas to add to my arsenal.

We're in the midst of Pizza / Movie Night here, and my daughter - who has excellent taste in MST3K episodes, has chosen "Manos: The Hands Of Fate". Of course, even as it is a funny episode, it is taking a few Blue Moons to get through the notion that it is still....well, Manos: The Hands Of Fate.
The Blue Moon will rool into hockey in a bit here.

I'd have to say "Giant Spider Invasion" and "Jack Frost" are my favorites. "Jack Frost" seemed like a horrifically bad movie as well.

great on tap on hot summer days but I have never liked it out the bottle. Kinda like Hefe, great on tap, not so much out of the bottle.

Just bought a case of Deschute's The Abyss yesterday but I'm abstaining this weekend. We're headed to Jamaica on Sunday and I'm sure I'll be drinking more than enough during the week that we're there. I bet everyone feels real sorry for me.

Im gonna be honest... Fucking ham-ski right now. Drinking everything under the sun, Started with Short's Brew Shop Parade, then moved on to Two Hearted, After that had a few Jack and Cokes. Now drinking awlejoaisdfasldkfjweio. Next stop a girl named Megan's bedroom. Will post pics or well it didnt happen i guess. A constant thought of Harbaugh in the back of my head........ WTF?

I am currently on my 3rd Old Fashioned (double) made with the local still Buffalo Trace. I suspect that this will be my last as that double turned into "pour the rest of the bottle into the glass" and tis' a lil' bit more than I expected. *shrugs* Fuck it.

Drinking some from a Cincy local, Triple Digit Brewing. Chickow! and Cranium. Cranium is surprisingly similar to Bourbon County. Had to go buy some more earlier today for the cellar.

near my work had this on tap.
So pissed that it was out by the time I got there.
Of course, 64 oz of 120 minute would = me unconscious. My wife detests 120 (she is more of a Marzen-less hoppy/ABV girl).
Am on my 3rd Laphroaig 18. All the smoky peat, smooth as butter. May buy another bottle tomorrow.
