NFL London: Lions vs Falcons

Submitted by TheFugitive on
Kickoff at 9:30am on Fox. Falcons have a makeshift oline which plays into the Lions hands but they still have Julio Jones and some other playmakers. Lions are without Megatron, Bush, and most if not all of their TEs.

While the current score does not at all thrill, it was an interesting experience - if nothing else - to watch football with coffee and breakfast.

That said, it would have been nice to recover that fumble, but the Lions' chance to tie this game and make a showing of it is now upon them.

That no call on the 2 point conversion was huge but the D needed to show why they are #1 and didn't. No one to blame but themselves for stinking up the first half and the last few minutes.

Lions defense shitting the bed.  Really hurts to have the ball twice within the 5 yard line and come away with only 2 FGs.

We should've got to attempt another 2-PT conversion though, Atlanta got away with holding on that.

So instead of calmly kicking a FG with 17 seconds left, we run the ball and risk them laying on top of the ball carrier and the clock running out, just so we can run the FG team out there in a super hurry? No, fuck that. Dumb ass call, we got lucky with the defensive hold.
