NCAA Tournament Night Game Thread

Dayton-Syracuse and Oregon-Wisconsin are currently playing.  Dayton led Syracuse 20-18 at the half in this one.

MSU passes it to casual (and not so casual) observers, and UM doesn't, I guess.  MSU plays an amazing half against an overmatched opponent, leads by 12, and everyone thinks they look like national champs.  UM plays a great half against a 'better' team, leads by 14, and people have a 'meh' opinion.

MSU's style leads people to think they are better than they are.  Our style makes people think we are lucky.

I don't think it is a respect thing.  I really think it is more of a style question.

Agreed with the original post. I'll probably get thrown to the wolves as an MSU fan but just wanted to toss in my two cents.

You guys play a brand of ball that generally relies on taking and making a high percentage of threes, which most consider to be flukey and not a winning formula for the tournament. The thing is that you guys have the shooters to sustain that game plan, as evidenced by how great you've been this year, not to mention last season. People really discredit your post game as well, but Morgan has turned into a solid player for you guys.

We play a much different game that relies on physicality and athleticism. Nothing wrong with either system, it just depends on what a coach wants and finding the right players that fit. Obviously Beilein has done a great job at that.

but the internet must know my thoughts.  That Syracuse/Dayton was full of so much bad decision making and frankly bad coaching at the end of the game.  That was CBI stuff.  Terrible shot selection, terrible inbounds plays and designs.  Just awful.

Congrats to Kalamazoo  Central guy Devin Oliver for Dayton, a very impressive young man who I got to see play in high school a few times.  Beilein looked at him but never offered.  When he signed with Dayton his dream was to play in the tournament.   Very happy for him.

I do enjoy that one.  I like the way he gets so offensive after she asks "From what?"..."I DON'T KNOW!".

Also, I somehow just noticed a few weeks ago, the woman in that commercial is effing hideous.
