NFL.com is showing 4.44 for him. Do they get to run twice?
It was unofficial at first and they go back and correct them but it’s usually a very small correction if at all
While gifted in many many ways, when it comes to top end speed, he just isn't that. Is what it is. Probably go anywhere from round 3 to round 5 imo.
OT: Luke McCaffrey, who apparently converted to WR at Rice, ran a 4.47
NFL site has him at 4.46
Joe Milton just threw him a pass.
did it sail 20 yards past him?
This is low key compelling television
Right up there with golf as good napping TV.
anyone have a good stream?
Pretty good except for after too much coffee.
Lucky you. Mine's like a damn trickle. I spend half the morning trying to relieve myself.
Jerry Rice on his 7-Eleven chain: "I'm always open"
GOAT.
Damn, Joe Milton is a large human being
Well, J.J. has bulked up a bit, which is good. On the other hand, he has the dreaded tiny hands, which the media likes to talk about. But it should be pointed out that Joe Burrow, of recent draftees of some note, also measured 9-0.
I saw Blake has giant hands. Same size as pretty much all the QBs despite being seven inches shorter.
NFL.com write up on him claims:
Enigmatic quarterback lacking the measurables and splash throws associated with early round quarterbacks but possessing elements that require more study and consideration. McCarthy lacks frame thickness and a plus arm.
Yeah, he’s an enigma because he meditates before games and only cares about winning.
Jared Goff has 9 hands too.
robf just ran a 4.39. surprising speed for a mod. moved his draft stock up to a day 1 pick, no doubt.
Wait... robf is leaving MGoBlog to mod for a TBD pro blog?
I blame Warde.
Confirmed.....Chargers blog.
Fire Warde; fire up the NIL cannon and rehire Rob F
10 fakes out of 5
NIL this man. We need him for at least another year.
i think he can be talked to with a little two-hearted ale, maybe a nice bottle or two of certain distilled spirits. he's a big michigan fan, committed early on in the process.
He's a keyboard rat, his dad was a mod...
But what are the other mom's going to think about his NIL deal?
Always the lunch pail for me, the bag man will probably show up to take care of the other moms
I'm not THAT easy...
... I'm listening, let's hear some more.
homemade, still warm from the oven with butter running down the top and sides, banana chocolate chip muffins.
deal?
I heard he put up an astonishing 145 reps on the thumb press
Announcers talking up JJ's performance... sounds like he had an outstanding day.
I saw some highlights from him and he was dead-on on most of his throws. Also, was surprised to see that his hardest through (61 mph) was only 1 mph less than Joe Milton III.
“Dropping dimes” is what I heard
He's up in the booth hanging with the announcers right now... doing great.
(Just noticed one of the announcers is Rich Eisen. He is obviously a fan.)
JJ: “Can’t go broke taking a profit”
Overall positive, I think. He missed a few, especially when throwing to his left. He had the second strongest arm in his group, behind only Milton.
Love Rich Eisen's M bias. Every chance he gets. I'm here for all of it.
Not a bad day for an enigmatic player who lacks a plus arm and splash throws.
Michigan hate remains an epidemic - at least we gave the haters some brutal hater tots to feast upon this year! National championsbips are glorious!
Joe Milton's bazooka arm threw 62mph.
JJ threw 61mph. I think he will be fine. I think he's locked in as the #4 QB and that's actually good because he will go to a decent team, not a trash team..
There's some people talking him up in the top 5, which is unfortunate for him. Would probably need the Chargers to trade out, as the top four seem pretty guaranteed to be Williams, Maye, Daniels, and Harrison.
I half jokingly said it the other day but will repeat.
Chargers at five trade Herbert away for a bag and a half, thereby solving their cap woes, and draft JJ AND get a ton more picks. I hear the Chargers HC said JJ should go #1.
So I guess Joe Milton doesn't have a "plus arm" then either?
Woosh
Roman's 40....4.41. Damn, thought at least low 4.3
Worthy, 4.25. Wow
I think my channel is on a time lapse compared to yours... I'll leave the real-time feedback to you :)
Roman Wilson just put up a 4.41 on his first run... very fast, but slower than his goal. I hope his next one is better.
Holy shit. 4.25 for Xavier Worthy.
Worthy...4.22
He should've been Blue.
Might have won a National Championship if he stuck around.
