I think in psychology we call this "self-actualization." Completely comfortable in his skin.

Feed chicken table scraps and garbage and they give you eggs in return. That's a pretty good bargain.

Revisiting the weird randomness of Jim Harbaugh, I can’t help but see a bit of my own son in him. Sometimes socially awkward with his own takes on everything, sometimes randomly weird enough that my husband and I glance at each other and raise our eyebrows. My son has definitely rubbed a few the wrong way with his inability to just fall in line, even if it’s a coach. And yet….he’s finding success in his own fledgling coaching career. Maybe every time I worry that my son is too much of an individual, I should just remind myself: Harbaugh.

how discouraging, the whole conference trying to break this man and he's up there laughing, talking about chickens.

Another part of the press conference
- how he learned about the B10 decision
- how supportive Warde is and that he is heads (“ten toes”) down working hard for the team

Gold, Jimmy.

So, Jim says the chickens are good for his mental health and he got them before the 2021 turnaround. I dare say they are a bigger part of the Michigan turnaround than Stalions.

You can write just about anything and you’re getting +1 every time I see that picture of Blake.
His wallet says “Bad Mother Fucker”

Successful coaches are not stuck in their ways. They are open to change.

Coach has to call Wilton and let him name his chickens right? At least one

That's all well and good, but has he updated his thoughts on "jive turkeys"? Thanksgiving is just around the corner.

On a related note an Ann Arbor based "firm" has discovered Ryan Day likes to keep sheep. Well, one sheep who he describes as... fetching. The animal is said to be quite tame but is always... anxious... around Ryan. Day says he had to get rid of his chickens for the same reason...allegedly.

I thought Ryan shared his bed with a couple of ferrets! And not the "good" ones from Beastmaster.

This guy is amazing. I'm so glad he rebooted the staff after 2020 and seemed to be reenergized, especially for the Maize out vs. Washington in GAME 2 of the Michigan Return to Greatness in 2021.
A national treasure for UM fans!

Happy to be wrong, and cognizant of recency bias, but this seemed like the most focused, clear-headed, genuine and transparent Jim Harbaugh I've seen. Akin to when my dad tells me he loves me without first being prompted.

Uhh, thank you, Coach... I think.

If those assholes from that network indeed show up would it be illegal to unleash a truck load of chickens in the vicinity of the setup with MICHIGAN vs. EVERBODY sweaters on ?
