OT: Missing OSU Flags Across Michigan
There were two houses that would have Ohio State flags up year round in West Michigan along my commute. Mysteriously they disappeared around Thanksgiving weekend.
I was out enjoying my birthday today and was reminded that they are missing, but from what? Theft, aliens, shame from the game? If anyone knows why, don't call the authorities; I find it liberating to not have to see them anymore.
Anyone else have a similar liberating experience of disappearing OSU flags in their area?
gonna be a long time until the Fall
For some reason I’ve been feeling a perverse sense of joy whenever I see OSU stuff these days. I think it’s been happening for, oh, about the last 5 months or so.
So what exactly were you doing during the time of the osu flag disappearance?
My client pleads the FIF!!
Irrelevant
I don't know what you're talking about.
Avatar check: wolverines!!’
There are a lot missing around the SE Michigan/NW Ohio that used to fly year round too
Funny, we used to see a lot of Trump flags, too.
Yeah, now all we see are Bide . . . um, never mind.
Maybe because he's the president, not some supreme lord, cult leader whose flags we must fly to appease him.
I have an American flag, not the flag of a politician.
It had been so long since a M win...what if they lost a bet? And had to leave them up until the victory? The plot thickens
Horrible bet tho...an OSU flag would cripple home value for years.
If that were the case, you'd think they'd be flying the block M since Thanksgiving weekend though.
It’s possible that they ran out of cooler paper, and those flags found their true purpose in life.
Maybe the damn flags just flu away and I'm sure they don't last long in the snow.
I guess it's not as bad as being sucker punched, or have car keyed, or get speeding ticket one mile over limit, in Columbus for the Game. The Michigan Difference.
Still doesn't explain why, but a quantitative study found that they had decreased from 42 to 27.
I live in Tallahassee and there was an OSU flag in my neighborhood that mysteriously disappeared just after thanksgiving as well. Weird coincidence I suppose
