Schadenfreude - PSU beats us to four losses

It’s small consolation, but PSU goes to 0-4 on the season with a 30-23 loss to Nebraska.  It interesting to note that their SBNation blog, Black Shoes Diary, has not a lot of people calling for Franklin’s head.

Indiana shut out MSU.  How in Hell did we manage to lose to Sparty?

Franklin also just signed a new contract in February for 6M per year.

"If he is fired without cause, Penn State owes Franklin the current year’s guaranteed compensation times the remaining length of the contract."

No one is firing Franklin unless they want to pony up 36 million...

Haven't been watching PSU...do they look like they're being coached in fundamentals and actually watching game film?  Do they know the names of key opposing players?  If they are doing that they're doing better than us even at 0-4

Part of the problem in my opinion and regarding people wanting Harbaugh fires is two fold:  heading into the season that negative big game narrative.  Secondly some I think had a good amount of optimism heading into the season and the dominating win opening the season agains Minnesota lead to some having lofty expectations.

Michigan beats Sparty 9/10 times this season. That arm punt offense isn’t going to hit as often as it did, and you can’t count on all those diving catches and that ridiculous last catch by the frosh WR that was tipped into him while he was on the ground. This is more of an indictment of Sparty’s ineptitude than Michigan’s ability.

We lost to Sparty because we're poorly coached and apathetic.

I wouldn't be calling for Frames Janklin's head if I were a PSU fan either. He gets them 11-win seasons and meaningful bowl wins. Also a B1G championship. Having an occasional shit season is forgivable under those circumstances.
