Why does stating the obvious offend you so much? What I stated was just the truth. Michigan literally just picked up some random, unheard of dude ranked in the 1,000’s, while OSU is about to snag the #1 RB in the nation.

You don’t see a problem here? Or are you just complacent with mediocrity because Harbaugh is the head coach?  Hate to tell you, but the talent gap is continually widening between Michigan and OSU. Go look for yourself.

I do see the problem but I also think your comparison is a little bit apples to oranges... That guy we just picked up is inevitably going to raise up in the recruiting rankings soon. They are going to get the number one running back in the country... Michigan will most likely land the number 2 running back in the country. On paper Ohio state's recruiting classes nearly unprecedented for them. They're doing exceptionally well but that is on paperand we won't really know for a few years how good this class is. However Michigan will undoubtedly have a top-10 class.. maybe even a top-five class when all is said and done. The problem is what we're not doing on the field the last two seasons against Ohio State. We've got to get it done and recruiting but we also have to maximize our talent and put a quarterback out there who can win big games. I don't think Michigan is going to win in 2020. But next year I do think we have a good chance. We've just got to get better.. and can't worry about what Ohio State is doing. We need to be better and focus on Michigan not Ohio State. there is a problem but the sky isn't necessarily falling.

I agree we have to play better -- but don't you think one of the reasons we have lost so many times recently is because of the talent gap? It has been proven time and time again 4-5 stars win football games. He just stated a fact we signed a 1000+ player and sou is getting the no.1 rb in the nation. It is also no guarantee we get the no.2.

Let's talk about the 2020 recruiting class.  You know, the guys that will be on campus for this season and not two seasons from now.

OSU added 1 generic 3* RB to its 2020 class, the #45 ranked RB, and #625 overall.  They really needed two RBs, but missed on every one of their higher rated attempts.  This kid's other offers were BC, Iowa State, Cincinnatti, Kentucky, and the like.

Michigan added a 4* RB to its class, the #12 ranked RB, and #128 overall.  The kid's other offers were Ohio State (who wanted him badly late), Georgia, LSU, USC and Wisconsin.

I have a feeling that when that happened, you didn't post about it on this or any other blog.

I’m not sure if you’re trying to say Michigan is recruiting better than OSU or not, but you’re going to have a hard time convincing people on here that they are (because they’re not). The problem is OSU misses on RB in 2020, it just means they just get two RB’s in the top 100 overall in 2021. Not to mention they get a grad transfer who averaged 7 ypc who will be on the field in 2020.

Harbaugh needs to be able to keep his assistants. He let his best recruiter go in Partridge. It’s hard enough to recruitand with the turnover we have with our assistants it hard to g keep a relationship with these kids. I thimk Harbaugh needs to hire Mike Hart as our running back coach. I know he never will. Hart loves Michigan. I think he would be an awesome recruiter.

I'm a loser and the only thing that makes me feel good about myself is to bash thread titles on an internet sports forum.

Look at me, I'm the 10th person to bash the title.  Title bad you should feel bad about it.

People suck.  If you don't like the title don't click it.

Because he’s a fucking troll at best, or one of those pathological Michigan fans who, for some unknown reason, live in a state of negativity and shit on what they profess to love.  I don’t know if other fan bases are infected with people like this as I don’t follow any other teams; but it seem like Michigan’s fan base is absolutely over run by these miserable cunts.  Oh, excuse me, they’re just “realists”, keeping it real so that all us “homer”, “koolaid drinkers” don’t ... what, exactly?  They stamp out optimism like the rhino in The Gods Must Be Crazy stamped out fire, and (like this dipshit above) can’t wait for bad things to happen to Michigan.

Whatever. There's nothing this kid can do to Michigan what guys like Carlos Hyde, Ezekiel Elliott, and JK Dobbins haven't already done in just the last seven years alone.

OSU gets its embarrassment of riches, will probably continue to embarrass Michigan on the field, and the wheels on the bus, go round, and round, and round.

Edwards is going to be a dog fight.  Georgia probably leads.  He recently called Little Brother his dream school his whole life and he's close friends with their current starting RB.  And LSU will be a player when he gets to visit them.

Read somewhere that if Ohio fills out the rest of their recruiting class with the players they are expected to get they will have the all time highest rated class. Please tell me that’s not true.

If Henderson commits to Ohio State, that would seemingly leave Georgia and Michigan State as our biggest competition for Edwards.

Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Kentucky, Missouri, Ole Miss, Tennessee and Texas A&M have all extended Edwards an offer but don't seem to be serious candidates, at the moment.

I thought we had a shot with him.  But put him in the rear view mirror and move onto other guys, like Edwards who is an absolute must get now.   Its time for Jay Harbaugh to work his magic.   Jay will need the power of persuasion
