I can't see us ever being elite again as long as we have to play by the rules and O$U is allowed to cheat. I see they just got a commitment for a 5 star and number 1 WR in the nation. That's 3 years in a row they have landed the number 1 WR in the nation. All 5 stars.
I actually think a three year extension is warranted. That's just enough time for Coach Harbaugh to get in the players that fit his system. I may add that very few coaches turn a program around during their first contract. Be patient, we are going to get there.
Why not give Jim a four year extension? Tell him you start now and you will have all the recruits you recruited. It not easy taking over a program with other coaches recruits.

Ohio wanted him more than anything but he was turned off by their cheating. Ohio then settled for some clown named McCord who was a 3 star. Once he committed he became a 4 star. This is a kid who had only 2 MAC offers and a handful of Division 2 offers.
What I'm saying is forget the star rankings. Harbaugh and staff can judge talent much better than Day and his corrupt staff.

Call me crazy but I think this years class will destroy Ohio's.

JH cooled on this kid the last few weeks. Kiner doesn't meet the standards and athleticism of the kids from the New England area that we seek.
This kid is underrated. I've looked at his film and he's definitely a high four star if not a five star. Just look at his hips at the point of attack.
