Michigan v. Iowa Game Thread

Mates,

So if we get by Iowa, looks like we'd take on the Gophers.  But, one game at a time.  Go Blue, beat the hawkeyes!

Beilein always has great answers for those halftime 'interviews'...  If only football coaches could be so eloquent when answering questions!

Superb half. Even with that slowdown near the middle of the half, they did a much better job than they did in Iowa City. 40 points in the first half must be second to only the NW game since B1G play resumed.

Great first half... Team looks back in sync with Matthews starting and Livers contributing off the bench.

Good to see Eli picking up where he left off last game. He's a heady player, just needs some confidence and it looks like he's getting it back.

Great start to the game...then we survived a five or six minute drought.  Livers was a great spark plug out there. Last year he was only a defensive player this time of year, now we can depend on him scoring big buckets.

Garza got away with a huge hook on his last made basket that irked the shit out of me but overall good viewing...

We won't continue hitting this well and Bohannon WILL catch some sorta fire later on, be nice to maintain a lead and keep hitting our open looks that Livers and others at times, have hit.

Z's two 3balls were beautiful, probably wouldn't expect many more of those but hopefully he can get some drive and dish looks down the stretch.  Brooks had very good minutes, defensively for sure but glad he sunk a 3ball and that attack in transition and dish to Teske was a nice and smart play.

X’s first-half stat line: 8 points on 3 shots, 8 assists(!), 0 TOs, 3 rebounds.

Team had 13 assists overall on 15 field goals and only 1 TO.

Iggy has a ton of skill but still prone to freshman mistakes. He might end up being the best sophomore jump player under Beilein however

Refs completely changing how they ref at halftime is really enraging. Already matched first half foul totals.

Edit: Surpassed it in 2 minutes.
