The second-ranked University of Michigan men's basketball team (17-0) will head back onto the road traveling to Madison,Wisconsin, and the Kohl Center for a Big Ten battle Saturday (Jan. 19) afternoon at Wisconsin (11-6). With an 11 a.m. CST (noon EST) tipoff, the game will be broadcast on ESPN with Jason Benetti and Dan Dakich on the call.
Wisconsin stands at 11-6 overall and 3-3 in Big Ten play following a 64-60 setback at Maryland on Monday night (Jan. 14).
Saturday's game will be the 166th all-time meeting in the series. The Wolverines lead the all-time series, 94-71. U-M holds a 35-45 record in games played in Madison, Wisconsin. However, the Wolverines did win last season's game at the Kohl Center, 83-72 (Feb. 11).

Teske has like 9 blocks but box score will say 1. 1-7 from 3 is crippling, but should fix itself closer to 30% for the game which is encouraging

They have to guard the quick pass back to the inbounder so you basically get to run a play 4 on 4.
I'd prefer he's getting the ball initially but there's good reasoning for doing it that way.

Gotta get the ball moving. Too many possessions with only Z, Poole and maybe a Teske handoff touching the ball at the top of the key while two guys stand in the corner. Poole forced into too many long twos. Would like to see Mathews get involved.

Matthews has only made bad decisions with the ball thus far. Needs to pull his head out and start creating for teammates on the drive. Not getting to the rim but then pivot steps 3 or 4 times and tries to either fade away for a 2 or go up with 3 guys on him. Not acceptable

Completely agree. I think we may have beaten Louisville if Beilein was more like he is now, where he’s willing to rip into the refs. Was not like that 5 years ago.

Too much 1-on-1 Basketball in 1st half. Need more passing to exploit mismatching and switches. JB will make that easy fix.

Definitely, just not currently enough cohesion and ball movement. They sink 2-3 down when Matthews penetrates, he needs to be more aware of that and find the open man. One of the most annoying things about his game is his tendency to be selfish when he drives. That and his traveling. It was a huge issue last year but got a lot better this season. I expect it to be fixed for the second half, JB is a great coach and makes great adjustments
