Sounds like we made offer to Shaun nua.   I like that he was with navy for little awhile.  Also worked with Herman nfl guy.   Another young and decent recruiter.    See if he accepts.

Yea it looks like a done deal and we should hear its official tomorrow. Seems like a good hire but not exactly wowed by this. We'll see.

The hire is fine dont get me wrong. But im just curious from the recruiting standpoint, it would be better if we had someone with more of midwestern ties. I mean we recruit the west coast fine, but realistically how many more recruits can we actually pull from there? I would think recruiting the midwest and even the south would be better for us.

Tend to agree here. I don’t think there is much we can do to pull more recruits out of the west coast region. Hopefully this does the trick and I’m wrong, but I think as far as recruiting goes we would be better off focusing on the Midwest and NE, and then the south. But I also don’t know anything so...

No.  Nebraska is essentially Wisconsin - lots of dairy and corn farmers with large kids.  Most of them stay home to play for the local team and then return to the family farm with some flavor of big city seasoning (ie: Ag degree).  Sometimes they pull off a surprise and get a potatoe farmer from Idaho.

I have just stereotyped all of the square flyover states, ridiculed farmers, and possibly misspelled potato, depending on how you spell it.  I now look forward to the #MeToo crowd whining about said disparagements...

I like this approach to headlines. So bracingly brief and to the point.
