OT: Home Alone 1

I like the first one bc you’d think social services would have had a say on the second. 

John Hughes is a genius and “Home Alone” is perfect.

Both are great, but I got to go with Home Alone 2. Better booby traps, better screams, and just one of the greatest scenes in cinematic history with Marv screaming after being attacked by pigeons.

they are both fun but i think Home Alone broke a lot of territory and is overall a better movie.  Home Alone 2 has a lot of good moments but the movie is not as good as a whole movie.

Both great movies. I prefer #2 due to the fact that Kevin turned sadistic on his traps and the wet bandits would be dead about 3/4 of the way through the movie. 

"Where'd he go?"

"Maybe he committed suicide?"

I have to go with the original, but they're both great.

Home Alone 2, and I only say that as Home Alone is a pro-Satan. That movie just shows that you can sell your soul and you can get anything you want! Here's looking at you, John Candy! 

I haven't seen 2. 

1 is OK.  But the father is much too comfortable given the occurrences of the film.  It seems like he either wanted that kid gone or figured he had enough other kids that it wouldn't be too big a deal if one were lost to circumstance.  

I never watched Home Alone. I was finished with graduate school and thought it was a movie for kids. Some day I'll watch them.

If you mean which do I hate more, it's both.

I am amazed people like these movies, but perhaps that's because I'm not 7.
