He’s not high enough on draft boards for him to just not submit his name and leave. Anyone who isn’t an auto first rounder typically submits their name. He back.

What a wonderful Christmas present this would be! We might be thinner on the d line, but we should have an elite defensive backfield. With almost the whole offense coming back it could be a big year for the maize and blue.

I do not buy that he’d not do it because he’s so sure he’ll be a top pick, he’s no surefire first rounder. To me this signals he is almost certainly staying, or else he’s being really dumb not even getting the eval done.
