Zach Charbonnet gets huge bump on Rivals

Charbonnet has moved up to #39 in Rivals ranking. While we don't care much for Rivals (I think?) it does mean he will end up with a very good composite ranking.

So I know you're being snarky for whatever reason, but let's apply some logic - when recruits take a big fall (maybe because they don't camp or whatever) we're sorta apathetic because we like the tape, we like the recruit, and the fall only reaffirms their commitment.  Ok, it gets the star-watchers angsty but whatever.

But when recruits start seeing a huge rise in the rankings, we sorta perk our ears up because that means schools that might not have been paying attention before - I'm looking at you alabama - are suddenly sniffing around one of our recruits.  Also worth pointing out our coaching staff's ability to identify talent.  You know, without reading 247.

Tldr, I think your equivalence is false and stuff.  Also I think a "hug fall" is the best kinda fall.

Cheers.

Milton didn't fall because he didn't camp. He fell because his accuracy issues didn't improve like the evaluators had anticipated.

Some people cared a lot, because... starz. Others didn't care because Milton was always going to be a project and Harbaugh has improved every QB he's ever touched that wasn't named O'Korn.

Kevin Grady and Derrick Green are the only 2 composite 5 star backs weve ever had so its not like its a curse that only 2 have failed

Also Michigan fans shouldn't spread this bullshit about 5 star backs not panning out at Michigan. Recruits do read the internet and ive seen this BS about 5 stars failing at Michigan FROM MICHIGAN FANS too often. We don't need recruits reading shit like this about our program

We need to hold on to this dude. Its been too long since Michigan had an elite RB

And before people say "Hurr durr but Higdon!". Higdon is good, not elite. Disappeared in big games. I want a RB that can CARRY US in big games
