#7 in CFB Rankings

I guess root for blowouts of OU, OSU, and UGA. But, like, whatever. Screen Shot 2018-11-27 at 6.23.17 PM.png

Style points (the eye test) are going to allow OSU to jump OU because the committee has questioned OU's defense all season as not nearly good enough.  If OU can beat Texas in a solid fashion, no doubt OU is in because Texas is ranked #9 versus NW which is ranked way lower at #21.

Maybe I'm overthinking things, but I have to believe that OU playing Texas in the Big-12 Championship Game gives them a leg up on OSU, not just because Texas is better than Northwestern, but because OU actually gets the very rare opportunity to avenge the one loss on their resume.  Their regular season loss to Texas was on a last-second field goal, so if they beat Texas solidly, it suggests that they were better than every opponent they played.  (And obviously their one loss is way better than OSU's blowout loss to 6-6 Purdue.)

The ranking pretty fair and a testament to the quality of decisive wins we had over PSU, MSU, Wisky, and we absolutely crushed Nebraska which was a bit of a hard luck team early in the year.  Like some others, don't see much upside in playing Florida again.  Fiesta sounds intriguing, particularly if OSU left out of playoff.

No way Michigan gets in.  Even if all three teams lose -- Ohio state alone would get in over Michigan.   God, I hate saying that.  I still can't believe the egg Michigan laid last weekend.

Honestly, I'd rather back into the Rose Bowl than the CFB. The former feels like a much more wrothwhile thing to win than a semi-final spot that no one will think is well-earned.

REALITY

Any other two teams get destroyed by Alabama or Clemson and they get yet another rematch.

I'd rather go Peach or Rose that get stomped 100-14 by Alabama or Clemson. OSU will get stomped too.

Fiesta or Rose are great rewards for a good season. We are a 50/50 ball away from still being in the playoff conversation,  despite the beat down we took. Ohio State took a beatdown too. Their fans were ready to hang themselves a week ago. They played to their potential when it mattered the most, kudos to them. But if those cooler poopers think they can hang with Bama and Clemson, they are high on meth. I kind of hope they get their wish. But I also want them to be sad. But I also don’t want them saying shit all year that they were robbed. I don’t know what I want. There is no justice. Karma is a myth. It’s all meaningless. Dust in the wind.

fuck it, Go Blue!!!!

Playoffs ? Top 4 ? Do you really think 4, 5 and 6 all are going to lose and/or get blown out ?

It would be fun to watch, but that's what it would take imo.

#7 is a pleasant surprise.  However, if we somehow make the playoff, we're going to get dominated by Bama.  I'd almost rather play Washington State and actually have a chance to win our bowl game.  Let Notre Dame get dominated by Bama instead.

There is no chance we get in the playoff. Even if UGA and Clemson get blown out, and Oklahoma and OSU lose, UGA would still be in, and Clemson would be ahead of us as well.

Its over. We will not get in.
