Meta: Site has become unusable on mobile due to ads
It is a damn shame, as this has been one of my most trafficked mobile sites, but I won't be coming here anymore on my phone. The ads every 2-3 posts are too much. I know the site needs to make money, so I donate. I am not going to participate in a huge ad wall.
I might come back on my computer, but only with ad blocker.
This has been a known problem for a long time. It's a feature, not a bug.

The most annoying bit is the ads embedded between paragraphs of individual posts.

Just get the AdBlocker app on your phone. Works fine for me.

Rewatching the game.
And to add a little fun to get past pop-ups...
Gentry dropped a td which sucked. Could of been 10-7 instead of 7-6 and then Michigan stopped osu again to get the ball back next possession.
Then it was 4th and 2 at the osu 48...false start. Had to punt.
***wr ran a lot of routes short of first down gains...need to be aware of first down yardage.
Watson was burned on two straight pass plays for an OSU td. 14-6 osu.
michigan stalled out and punted.
watson got a huge Pass int on 3 and 16.
khaleke hudson and long missed big tackles leading for big gains.
Michigan coverage break burned for a td pass. 21-6.
Michigan drives and a great td pass to Collins. 21-13.
muffed punt.
Td pass to Evans. 21-19...failed 2 pt. (Gentry td earlier and it’s 21-21 more then likely).
watson pass int call.
long pass int call.
illegal sub Michigan defense.
bush burned on a pass.
this all allowed osu to drive 60+ in 50 seconds.
stop osu for a fg. 24-19 halftime. (Should have been 21-21 half)
all in all was a decent first half for Michigan. Had some sustained drives and stops. But, So many stupid mistakes. Dropped td, penalties, crossing route breakdowns, poor tackling that would of been losses instead of big gains...
then the second half happened.
Long hurt on first series.
stopped osu (third time). Osu stops Michigan. (Poor play calling here. A bad te pass, bad run up middle, bad rb screen with no blockers out front)
next series Gary goes down injured.
crossing route burns Bush. Bush gets hurt and carried off. (Long, bush, gary out at this point).
holds osu to a fg. 27-19. (Should be a minimum of 27-21)
Patterson sacked for third time.
michigan draws a big PI call.
Gentry big drop that would of been a 1st down. Causes 4th down and a blocked punt that blew the game open 34-19.
Next possession Patterson throws an int. Osu scores off this. 41-19.
This was all she wrote really.
Dropped TD by Gentry. Dropped 1st down by Gentry. Blocked punt td. Missed tackling. Int by Patterson. Stupid penalties. Bush, long, gary out. All went bad!!!
Up until the blocked punt, followed by the Patterson int....who knows what could of been. Osu victory more then likely, due to defense not stopping crossing routes...but it would of been a much better game!
Hopefully Patterson and bredneson come back then basically everyone on offense comes returns. Hopefully bush and long stay to go with - Most likely Hinton, Harrison, Hill and Perry on defense. Looks bright...really does. Win the bowl. Get the rivals at home next season. Go blue!

Because he is a foot taller, 80 lbs more, had it...and should of pulled it in. Hell even the announcers called a td he had it for long enough.

What exactly is so bad? Just scroll past it and enjoy your FREE content.
There is one pop-up banner on top that gets in the way of using the menu sometimes, but just click the arrow and it slides. up. Done. Easy. And from there you can go on enjoying your FREE content.

I dont mind the number, but if you are gonna run ads, make sure that whatever div you are putting them in is responsive so it doesnt blow out the width of the page on mobile

My issue is ads show up in the middle of comments and posts. That’s the annoying part. Also the initial ad at the top of the home screen is so big I can’t click the drop down menu. All on mobile.

Firefox mobile supports plugins, so you can run uBlock Origin on it. Now, having said that, mgoblog is the only site that's explicitly in my whitelist to allow ads

I was thinking of posting separately, but in the spirit of not littering the Board with technical issues my problem is that the app just won't open on my Iphone. I have an Iphone 8 with I believe the latest IOS. I have deleted and reinstalled the app to no avail. Has anyone else had this issue and/or have any suggestions?

COMPLETELY AGREE. Really really distracting (and I need to concentrate). I use an iphone 6s (larger screen) and I’m down to about 2” uf content...have to say, on the readability scale, MGB 3.0 (or whatever) stinks...1 out of 10...add in the ads, I don’t read nearly as long or as often...which means less ad revenue...thrown in 62 points...ARRRGH! Really not happy right now

Unusable? Ha. I know some are still grieving the loss, but man, that’s no reason to take it out on Brian and his team for monetizing the site. Also, you’ll be back on your phone in no time.

If you charged like 20 a year for MGOHD I’d buy it, I kno it wasn’t yours and was EVIL but it was the optimal way to use the blog IMO.
