Steve Lorenz CB's 2019 4* OLB Miami commit Anthony Solomon to Michigan

83% of crystal balls now have Solomon flipping to Michigan and this could've been the source of Dudek and Petzold's commit watch signals. Solomon is a 4* OLB, #195 in the country in the 247 composite and #395 in 247's internal rankings

I wonder how much of Brown's success was due to nobody bothering to seriously dedicate time to beating Boston College? Now that he's at Michigan, his scheme is getting torn apart by some of the best analysists around. Did that happen at BC? Probably not to the same extent, if at all.

Well, he did go against FSU (when they were good) and Clemson every year.

Our defense was still #1 in the country despite OSU and Indiana. OSU had a crazy good game. It happens. Brown could have done better, but it happens.
Against ND, they had some awesome catches that you just couldn't defend. 8 out of 10 times their plays wouldn't work, but they hit 10 out of 10.
I'm pissed DB didn't put in some disguised coverages or tricky blitzes, to change the game, but OSU played really really well.

Torn apart? A bad game this year to OSU and one last year against PSU. You know the same thing happens to the Alabamas and Clemsons of the world right?

I didn't realize Alabama and Clemson gave up 62 points (55 if you take away the punt block) to their key rival.

Clemson gave up 70 to WV in the Orange Bowl and Bama gave up 44 to Auburn at home with no special teams point (albeit Bama scored even more).
Regardless, Dabo and Saban were both embarrassed and mad with those outcomes. There is no joy by anyone who gets shredded.

Bush barely played in 2016 (except for the occasional targeting penalty). Bush was obviously very good last year but we got way more pressure from our interior defensive line last year with Hurst and that made everybody else's job a little bit easier.
We need more speed in our defensive secondary. We have needed this for so long that I barely remember a time when we didn't need it.

I think you're wrong about the Don Brown thing, but either way, I think/hope it will be Josh Ross replacing Devin Bush, Jr. next year if Bush leaves for the NFL. Then Gil and others (like McGrone) can duke it out for that WILL spot.

OSU exposed Michigan's need for additional speed at LB and DB. It's unfair to continue to place a LB on a RB coming out of the backfield, but we need some guys to stay with.

This is good, wonder if this is the commit watch we were told about yesterday via Twitter.

I'll take this please.

Please tell me he can cover a wheel route.

Would love if we can reel in Kalen DeLoach - love his film and reminds me of Devin Bush. Not sure any LB can cover Demario McCall on a wheel route, but would be a great fit in DB's defense.
