Started live streaming the game midst lecture, not expecting this type of blowout thus far. You can tell Beilein has had this game circled, these guys are cooking on both ends. Matthews and Livers have really looked good IMO.

The more he's out there, the more nervous I am about Hawkins playing safety. He hasn't showcased quality play yet, I understand he's still young but big play after big play he has been giving up to opponents. Defense is getting me a little nervous for next year won't lie.

09/24/2018 - 3:34pm Prayers to Larkin, hope he's…

Prayers to Larkin, hope he's alright and lives a good life.

However with this development I'm excited for NU freshman running back Isaiah Bowser. Kid is from my hometown, hard worker, smart cookie, and an even better human. He was an early enrollee, it'd be cool to see him get some extended playing time.

09/18/2018 - 8:07pm WOOOOOO!!!!!! Winning solves…

WOOOOOO!!!!!! Winning solves everything. Congrats and go blue!

09/07/2018 - 12:10pm From what I see, Michigan…

From what I see, Michigan has got to do a better job of getting our guys ready. What I mean by that is Wisconsin has the depth and experience to let their freshmen sit, develop, grow, and learn before they have to see the field. Michigan's guys see the field their first or second year on campus, not the third. We need depth, experience, and proper coaching to match Wisconsin, and I think our new crop of linemen mixed with Warriner will lead to much better line play in the following years.

08/31/2018 - 7:26am I relate to this sentiment…

I relate to this sentiment. My dad and I don't talk often about anything deep or personal, but during football and basketball games we sit in our respective spots in the man cave, toss a football to each other, and talk about the game and life. I look forward to football beyond just the sport, but the bond my dad and I share over sports.

He and I both agree that this year is akin to 2016, where we have the experience and talent to contend for a championship with potential to go down in history as one of the greatest Michigan teams and along the way. Our prediction: 31-17 Michigan, GO BLUE!

04/18/2018 - 4:08pm Love hearing all this. I know

Love hearing all this. I know we get this every spring seemingly, but I truly think next year this defense will be scary good and the offense will be putting up numbers again akin to Harbaugh's first 2 years. Love the moves we made to the staff, love the recruits, and love what I'm hearing. Go blue, this will be a long summer.

04/18/2018 - 11:58am Don't think he's needed. He

Don't think he's needed. He doesn't shoot the 3 ball great, and that's something we need with MAAR, Wagner, and Robinson all gone. Plus I'd rather have an extra roster spot for someone next year as a freshman because we have like zero seniors on the roster next year and we'll need some freshmen or else we may havbe a year all our production leaves and we have nothing in the cupboard.

04/16/2018 - 2:05pm Bo's first year in 1969, Bo's

Bo's first year in 1969, 89 basketball champisonship run, Fab 5 era (1991-93), 1999 Michigan footabll with Tom Brady, 2013 Michigan basketball with Burke, and Harbaugh's first year in 2015 for Michigan football. Those would be my picks.

Thanks for everything Moe!

1,000 points in his Michigan career

Not a whole lot of resumes better than that. Go Blue and good luck Wagner!

04/12/2018 - 8:34pm Good luck Wilton!

Good luck Wilton! Thoguht he was really gonna turn the corner and be an all conference quaterback for Michigan. Best of luck to him and hope he lands on his feet.

04/12/2018 - 8:05pm My bad thanks for the

My bad thanks for the correction

04/12/2018 - 7:56pm Would need one more person to

Would need one more person to exit the program on scholorship. Davis said he's staying and with Watson gone I don't expect to lose anyone else aside from possibly Wagner.

04/12/2018 - 7:45pm Thanks Ibi

I thought that maybe he could turn the corner and be a really good player for Michigan by the time he was a sophmore or junior. Camp Sanderson really improved him athletically, as I guess over the summer he posted some impressive numbers, but couldn't translate that onto the court. Hope he finds a good school and contiues playing ball and gets that degree! Thanks Ibi!

04/03/2018 - 12:36pm This season was a ton of fun.

This season was a ton of fun. We played a completely different style of ball that resulted in a conference championship: defense first, relying on our big man to lead the team, and inconsistant shooting. Hope to see next year we see better shooting numbers. Go Blue, helluva year!

03/27/2018 - 12:58pm We are, look no further than

We are, look no further than our upcoming recruiting class. We are seeing the benefits, we've gotten good recruits away from teams, but Beilein recruits differently. We'll never have one and doners like Duke or UNC.

03/25/2018 - 12:04am Beilein is the best coach

Beilein is the best coach Michigan basketball has ever had, and this team is arguably the best team Beilein has had at Michigan. Go Blue! This team showed gut and grit, especially on defense. Coach Luke Yaklich deserves a ton of praise for the work he's done with our team.

03/20/2018 - 3:38pm Love the trailor for the

Love the trailor for the Amazon series for Michigan. As fun as Michigan's basketball run is right now, I'm already hyped for football season. Let's keep it up and go blue!

03/20/2018 - 10:25am He's currently coaching the

He's currently coaching the Jacksonville Jags running backs in the NFL. I don't know if we'll get him back unless it's as chief offensive coordinator or head coach.

03/20/2018 - 10:23am So we lost both Fisch and

So we lost both Fisch and Wheatley becuase of Drevno..... awesome. I know that both had aspirations of getting a promotion but the more we look at it and hear from it the offense staff under Drevno had wasted talent under him. Hopefully we improve next year, can't be worse.

03/20/2018 - 10:19am Mo's play

If Mo continues to play the way he has in the NCAA tournament rather than BTT he's coming back becuase his stock will fall as scouts watch him on the big stage. If he can play well this week and get us to a Final Four he'd probably be considered a border first round pick and I'd assume he's gone at that point.

03/15/2018 - 10:21am Raider Up!

Currently a student at Wright State, the plaze is buzzing about the tournament.

03/13/2018 - 7:27pm Adidas > Nike

I know this is blasphamy around these parts, but since we signed the Nike deal I've liked what adidas has put out in comparisson to Nike/Jordan. I love them outfitting our teams (they do a better job and that's what is important), but the Nike stuff is as mediocre as adidas and I liked the material adidas offered their last year. I'm wearing my adidas Michigan gear more than the Nike stuff.

03/04/2018 - 9:30pm Yes

Yes I'm assuming, it's the one published right before his death. Beilein has mentioned it before.

03/04/2018 - 9:08pm Love Him!

Love Beilein, just heard his post game interview and he's the modern Bo Schembechler for basketball. He said he studied Bo's book and tried to follow it, and he's done it! Love him, he's great. Those who stay will be champions, Go Blue!

02/14/2018 - 5:50pm There's been a general

There's been a general assumption that most SEC coaches use bagmen. I've been on the blog (not always posting) for around 2 years and there have been a few rumors. He's not a main target but I don't like his vibes. Ask the sharks

02/14/2018 - 5:34pm Don't like

Honestly, hate this move.

Before the season we were all saying he was over rated, used bag men for recruiting, and couldn't coach an offense especially a quaterback. I wouldn't like the hire, and I think it'd be intellectually inconsistent and hypocritical of myself, and many others on the blog, to say this would be a home run hire.

02/13/2018 - 7:15pm I've thought the same. This

I've thought the same. This blog dogged Irvin last year prior till March once he really turned the season around and played lights out. Miss him and what he gave this team.

02/13/2018 - 7:14pm This happens every year since

This happens every year since the Big Ten's amazing basketball dominance from 2012-2014. The committee downplays a few Big Tens teams, they get hot and reach their peak in March, and make it to the second weekend upsetting people before losing prior to the Final 4.

Since 2011 teams like Michigan, Ohio State, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Purdue all have shown that they can compete and do some damage in March, and I'm looking forward to the committe getting it wrong and the Big Ten suprises everyone again.

02/13/2018 - 7:09pm Team Noon on night games

I'm a Team Noon guy but dude really? I don't mind a night game once in a while, I think the atmosphere is cool and fun. Did you watch the MSU and Minnesota games, the stadium was rocking and the weather and team fielded was awful. I am with you on having majority of the games at noon or 3:30, but night games are fun and staying. My only take is not have tons of night games in the Big House against the likes of Minnesota, rather save them for big matchups please.

Overall, your arguemnt is wrong and really makes no sense. You're like an old man yelling  (insert Simpsons news clipping of old man yelling at clouds or clint eastwood get off my lawn)

02/01/2018 - 1:34pm He's coached the position for

He's coached the position for the last few years and has played in both college and NFL at the same position. Not a sexy hire but it's baby steps, who knows maybe he'll do really good especially with recruiting and joins the staff.

02/01/2018 - 1:31pm Ocho has expressed interest

Ocho has expressed interest in coaching the position on Twitter. If Herm Edwards in coaching then Ocho can too

01/31/2018 - 2:15pm Grew up and still live in

Grew up and still live in Ohio, but my dad was a big Michigan fan and the first game I watched of Michigan was Michigan v Ohio State in 2006. As a 7 year old I loved their helmets and uniforms and joined my dad and became a Michigan fan. Never looked back, been a die hard fan since, and hope to transfer there at some point to continue my college education or go their for my masters. Go Blue!

01/25/2018 - 10:25pm Seth, stuff like this

Seth, stuff like this seperates MGOBLOG from others. This is amazing data gathered, love it! This class gets a lot of ridicule but I think there's a lot of talent and depth in this class to contribute. Keep it up, much apreciated, and Go Bue!

01/25/2018 - 10:13pm I know he isn' popular, but

I know he isn't popular, but since the Minnesota game in 2015 and Spring game in 2016 I have always thought Speight as tough and is a god leader. He can lead a team and was getting molded into a Harbaugh QB as best as posbile. Injuries and coaching changes hurt im frm really bcoming a monster and has fizzled out. I'd take him back, even if it's only for a competitive reason and for leadership. He's shown the most from any QB on our roster save Paterson thus far.

01/25/2018 - 1:05pm Repeating

Repeating it also helps

01/25/2018 - 12:52pm I noticed that too with

I noticed that too with Black. He looked the part and seemed to be as athletic and polished as any freshman I've seen at WR. Harbaugh is helping put these kids in a good place for the enxt level, he's just got to win at the current level and help these kids get there.

01/18/2018 - 1:25pm This is really cool. If we're

This is really cool. If we're one of the only programs to have this it'd be an awesome recruiting pitch as well. It's amazing the technology beig infused in sports to make and shape athletes to get them to their peak performaces.

01/18/2018 - 8:43am I would love to get Ped State

I would love to get Ped State at home at night, get some revenge infront of a packed, loud house in Ann Arbor. I wish nothing but ill to that program and any chance we can beat em in front of the country I'll take.

01/17/2018 - 6:22pm Prayers to you and your father

My thpughts and prayers will be for you and your father: pray everything works out. Cancer sucks, lost my grandpa and high school principal to cancer. Best of luck.

01/16/2018 - 10:27pm Ultra Boost

For my birthday last week I got a Finish Line gift card and bought a pair of Adidas Ultra Boost. I know Adidas sucks, especially around these parts, but those shoes are the greatest pair of shoes I've ever worn, love them!

01/16/2018 - 7:04pm Thanks for sharing

Thanks for sharing this video, really cool to see some of his highlights throughout his career to reach 1,000 points.

01/12/2018 - 4:06pm Did you watch the game? It

Did you watch the game? It was snowing so much it was worse than the 4th quater of Indiana and Michigan in 2016. Watch film of them this year and even in that game: different formations, different reads. Even with Reynolds in 2014 and 2015 there was diverse play calling and passing more so than Johnson at GT.

01/12/2018 - 3:51pm He is a really good coach,

He is a really good coach, it'll be interesting to see if he brings the triple option out west and if it works if he is hired. I rewatched the Army-Navy game and I've noticed he's adapted his offense and they have ran less triple option and have been a well rounded offense as of late. Can't be worse than RR.

01/12/2018 - 12:48pm Honestly surprised by this

Honestly surprised by this news. This is great, hope Partridge stays and takes over when Don Brown retires. Need loyalty on this staff and Chris seems to be really loyal to Jim, this school, and his players.

01/12/2018 - 9:55am Bo couldn't help the state of

Bo couldn't help the state of the confernece, and what we saw turn of the century was blind loyalty. Carr didn't adapt to the times while Bo did, Bo hired and promoted guys he knew would be loyal nd do a good job, not blindly promote the next man up, and Bo was supportive of whoever was coaching Michigan, Carr proved he wasn't.

The point of my post was maybe Harbs should take a page from Bo and hire a guy he thinks will be willing to stick around, tired of all this coaching turnover. I know it means it's typically a good thing to see coaches come and go in our case, but so is stability. Just my 2 cents.

01/12/2018 - 9:49am I saw it posted on the board

I saw it posted on the board a few days ago, sorry for the late response. I also know umbig11 posted something about that and he's a pretty reliable source on inside things like this (broke the Outback bowl injuries before it was released for example). As stated it's a rumor I saw, don't know if it's true but it is something to think about.

01/11/2018 - 10:52pm Rumor has it Harbs gave JBB

Rumor has it Harbs gave JBB the hand shake and walking papers so don't count on JBB returning. Plus we need roster spots to open up for freshmen.

01/11/2018 - 10:48pm I read Bo's Lasting Lessons

I read Bo's Lasting Lessons and remember him saying find loyal guys who won't leave and something along the lines of no co coordinators so everyone is of one mid. How prophetic, again let's just follow what Bo laid out and use that as a guide: the man helped build nearly 4 decades of football dominance.

01/11/2018 - 10:45pm Him and Denard were too good

Him and Denard were two good players and young men that were subjected to the debacle of coaches they had. Least Denard got to shine, poor Gardner was never given a chance to succeed. Imagine if he were playing and Harbaugh came to An Arbor in 2011 and got to coach him up, UGH!
