Can we officially make IU part of the revenge tour?

Not that I’m looking past the mighty Scarlet Knights, but 3 straight nail biters against IU has got me thinking we need to take some aggression out on the Hoosiers next Saturday as well.

I can get on board with this especially after going to last years game. How does a Big Ten university run out of water before halftime? The weather called for 85 and sunny all week. If anyone remembers that game took forever as well.

I have learned to not underestimate any team (thanks, RR and Hoke), but the 2018 UM team is far too focused to lose to Indiana or Rutgers.

I don't like playing IU. There's no upside. They're in the B1G. Fine. But this game has always felt like filing a tax return and it oftentimes carries the same amount of heartburn.

So I say 'yup' - let's toss a match on these puds and load up for Columbus State. Win it for the slack faced young woman of our gifs from a few years ago.

Indiana is Senior Day for a bunch of really hard-working guys, and I would focus on that.  Guys who have worked their asses off for 4 or 5 years, and not just on the Revenge Tour.  People should make an effort to fill the Stadium early that day and give them and their parents the ovation they deserve.

Well they have beaten us once in my lifetime, which I'm def not cool with.  Their U takes the namesake of their state which is worthless and the redneck mecca of the Midwest.  Plus - the 2nd scumbaggiest team in the history of football plays in the same state.  So my vote is......

HAIL YES!

Seeing as how we haven't lost to IU since 1987 (one of the very few winning streaks that survived the RichRod and Hoke eras) and the game is at home, I think we're more a part of their revenge tour than vice-versa .

Interesting thought....

On one hand, the last time Indiana beat us, Star Trek: The Next Generation was just getting off the ground.

On the other hand, Indiana's ability to be infuriating irks me.

I would lean "no", but I still want to stomp them.

I was there in 1979 when we almost got tied by the Lee Corso led Hoosiers but then Johnny winging Wangler hit Anthony the darter Carter for the game winning touchdown with 5 sconds left on the clock still the best ending I have ever seen.

This brings me to an interesting question:

Is Notre Dame on the Revenge Tour?

Because I think that game was not because they didn’t play (or beat) us the previous season.

They’ll become a part of the Revenge Tour if we play them in the playoff for revenge right?
