As long as he admits that PSU lucked its way into a Big Ten Championship in 2016, after getting its ass kicked up and down the field by Michigan and a total fluke win against OSU, then yeah sure, I might buy a little bit of what he's selling.
Harbaugh won't apologize for the rest of the conference failing to live up to expectations. Not his or Michigan's fault that's happening. I hope for another version of the 2016 beatdown on Saturday. Run their asses off the field and make this another statement game to the CFP committee.

Here's hoping for some cruelty in this win. Franklin has definitely earned it.
Whoever takes over after Franklin is going to have some talented players from the last two classes.

I wonder if this is the same PennLive writer who, two years ago implied that Michigan sold it's soul to get Jim Harbaugh and he would never be willing to see Penn State sink that low despite Franklin being on the hot seat at the time. Sam Webb had probably the most hysterical rant on WTKA the next day that I've ever heard.
But yeah. You can't talk to me about luck when Penn State went to the Big Ten title game two years ago despite being the third best team in the east division.

Bill Connelly has basically spent 2 years pointing to this season as the year Michigan was going to erupt, but okay it's all dumb luck based on everyone else suddenly getting worse sure.

psu and msu deserve each other. they have more built in excuses for losing to michigan. we already know about msu, for some reason their victories over purdue and psu are just great examples of their own toughness and never say die attitude. while their loss to michigan was not because of michigan, but more so because they were so depleted and banged up.
now psu gets ready early, "how in the world do you expect us to win at michigan with the help of the referines? they have a veteran roster, the big ten wants them to win because they are the best hope for the playoffs. we lost too much from last year, michigan should be ashamed if they lose to us this year. it goes on and on. fuck those guys.

Penn State has been living off of s fortunate blocked punt scoop and score for 2 years. Reality will slap them in the face a shut their coaches mouth Saturday at the Big House. They will be heading south next year and Franklin will be 1-4 against Michigan by 7pm Saturday.

Harbaugh has not won because he has not had a qb and finally does plain and simple. My friends who are non Michigan people have been spewing this same crap to me for years.
My response is look at who he has recruited to come play qb here after Peters....he is well aware of the change in the game, but if you have the best d in the country and your oline is winning the battle upfront why would you not manball and eat clock? He also with the qb is putting himself and team in position to potentially be able to hang in a shoot out and wrinkling in new things to the playbook and going outside the norm. He also did this with kapernick. So the whole argument or statement is beyond dumb.
As as far as penn state this is their ceiling and with Franklin there they will never get to where he thinks they will. You have the best qb in the big ten in my opinion and you have choke jobbed two games this year. Franklin will do something really idiotic this game as well

did you miss franklins press conference after the osu game> he announced to the world" we are a great football team" , "osu is an elite football team", that is where we are going, we will be elite. i watched his presser on btn today, he talks and recites stats like he is leading a sales meeting. but he is one lost puppy on the sidelines.

Sparty fans have been all over this talking point, too. But in their case they think they're "getting us back" for all the times we allegedly said it. I don't recall any Michigan fan taking anything away from the 2013-14 MSU teams who were legit. But yes I definitely said they were helped, somewhat, by a down conference in 2010-11.

He lost me when he called Jim a Bo Schembechler 2.0 with an offense only capable of winning one way. What? They run a spread zone read option this year...and they can also line up with the jumbo package and do power. Or they can go 4-5 wide (4 TE sets please!) Not sure how the writer confused that with Bo’s offenses.

I didn't read the article. I don't care. What I do know is McSorley is going to get hit hard multiple times on Saturday and probably cough the ball up more than once. I think our D is going to set the tone early and Shea will make better reads than in the past. It's all adding up to a demolition derby.
