Klatt predicts UM conference champions

Check out this article, which describes an appearance by Joel Klatt (former quarterback for Colorado) on our favorite The Herd with Colin Cowherd. In it, Klatt explains why he thinks Michigan will win the conference. Happy Friday!

The team that has developed now is the team most of us envisioned before the ND game; it feels great to see Shea turning into the quarterback we all imagined him to be. Looking back, the evidence that it might take longer to get to this point was there, him saying he'd learn more about football in the short time he was in Ann Arbor than he ever had at Ole Miss, I think we were all blinded by the potential, the 5 star, and the experience to think that he had a lot to absorb on a different stage and he probably felt some pressure to be 'The Savior', the missing piece. Well, all the pieces are coming together now; we might not win by 2 or 3 touchdowns but I'm really confident we are going to WIN.

which is why the Notre Dame loss was such a quality one! And, as it is, an imperative one as well.

The pressure of being undefeated would too much for a first time CFP team; plus, that loss keeps UofM right below OSU in over all media impression, even if their play has been a step above.

Don't let them see ya coming.

I’ve never wanted a game as much as the game tomorrow. I know a lot of people will disagree and say OSU more important. Maybe it is, but I want this one badly.

If THE Game were played today and the two teams that have showed up so far show up, I think the only thing stopping UofM would be it's a road game.

let's hope tomorrow eliminates that worry.

Too much poison. Hope the team is prepared for a battle. The Spartans would like nothing more to derail another season.

Win this game and most everything is in front of us even with a slip up against PSU. Lose and the takes will be unbearable.

“Klatt will be on the call for Michigan’s noon EST game at Michigan State on Saturday.”

Alright!! Maybe we’ll get a more competent commentator this week.

We are one-third of the way through a 3 game gauntlet that will define the direction of this season.  So far, so good.  We get through these 3 games in good shape and then we'll discuss who is a favorite.  Until then, "no comment".

However, I sure hope that Klatt guy is right...

"I like trolls.  I think trolling is okay!" - Cowherd.

I can't wait to destroy ND in the CFP personally. :)

He can be an ass but I like him more and more so long as I'm taking it for entertainment value and not to learn about sports.

Him and Harbaugh had a bit of a tussle initially but it was clever to help his ratings and get him in the news on Harbaugh's coattails as he jumped networks.

I mean, if we win tomorrow, then the conference is on the table for us, and it seems strangely doable .......IF we win tomorrow. This game has made me nervous for a decade now.

All the predictions and optimism make me wanna puke. I prefer to stay quiet and fly under the radar. Ugh. This is what always happens and this is why sparty can plays with extra motivation year in and year out. Can we please just go out and do what everyone expects for once?  K?  Thanks.
