"The Player and the Fan" Interview with Logan Tuley-Tillman
Former UM OT Logan Tuley-Tillman was interviewed yesterday by Chris Howard on his podcast "The Player and the Fan."
Tuley-Tillman says that there was an effort to bring him back on the team at one point.
Logan also discusses the mentorship non-profit he recently started, the Failure's Never Final Foundation.

LTT mentioned multiple times that Harbaugh tried to allow him to come back into the program. He is still a Michigan fan and proud to be a Michigan graduate. You may get a few more warm fuzzies about the program after hearing this interview.

If there was actually a push to have LTT back we have a big problem. There’s no room at Michigan for someone who records themselves having sex without the other persons knowledge. There’s no room for you either if you think that’s ok.
Edit: bet the downvoters thought urban was a real pos too. Pathetic. LTT is welcome to do the best he can after what he did, it there should have been no discussion of him coming back to the team.
Remember #settheexpectation? Good to know the board didn’t really believe that.October 18th, 2018 at 10:22 PM ^
From my understanding, he was cleared legally and it was addressed in the interview.

October 18th, 2018 at 10:27 PM ^
Got it, thanks - the interview addresses things quite differently.
October 18th, 2018 at 10:36 PM ^
So that makes it ok? Jeez. You belong in Hollywood
October 19th, 2018 at 6:18 AM ^
Or on the Supreme Court!!
October 19th, 2018 at 7:23 AM ^
Enough already
October 18th, 2018 at 10:26 PM ^
Piss off. Two drunk people were having consensual sex and one of them did something stupid. Don't make it sound like LTT is a rapist or something.
October 18th, 2018 at 10:35 PM ^
He admitted to taking video of himself having sex with another person without their consent because the girl was too drunk to know. That is the something stupid you’re trying to gloss over. Be better than the OSU/MSU people ffs
October 18th, 2018 at 10:38 PM ^
Consensual sex is a concept that MSU is clearly unfamiliar with. Same with spousal abuse at Ohio State.
October 18th, 2018 at 10:40 PM ^
It was wrong. It was not unforgivable. It's a judgment call - that's why we have judges - but I would have been ok with him coming back on the team.
October 18th, 2018 at 11:11 PM ^
October 18th, 2018 at 11:47 PM ^
You should, quite frankly, fuck right off.
Equating institutional coverup of spousal abuse over multiple years by grown adults with a single poor decision made a drunk but otherwise good kid is moronic and flat out fucking ignorant.
the only one here with issues is you.
October 19th, 2018 at 12:04 AM ^
October 19th, 2018 at 12:12 AM ^
No. Letting him back on the team for a mistake is not the same as as a head coach (and others) covering up spousal abuse for years.
Thise things aren’t even in the same galaxy.
And you have made that comparison more than once. You may not have meant to, but the way you’re wording your opinions makes the reader think you are. Don’t blame us for your poor wording if that’s not really what you’re saying.
also, it would not have been coverup for Michigan if they let him back on the team. He got busted and paid his penance, therefore, impossible to cover anything up.
October 19th, 2018 at 12:17 AM ^
October 19th, 2018 at 12:22 AM ^
It was out in the public and he was kicked off the team and faced charges.
The discussion is over whether to LET HIM BACK ON THE TEAM.
Impossible to cover up an incident already reported on and the person involved already went through the legal system.
coverup = hiding
letting him back on the team after not at all hiding anything, kicking him off the team and having go through the justice system is not a coverup in the least.
you are either ignorant or purposefully obstuse

October 19th, 2018 at 8:29 AM ^
You should learn when it quit.
Or learn the definition of "cover-up."
I respect your belief that somebody who does that should not be allowed back on the team. Some people have different opinions. Lots of guys who have been in legal trouble have been allowed back on the team (Darryl Stonum, Graham Glasgow, Kevin Grady, Grant Perry, etc.), so there is precedent.
I haven't seen you railing that hard against Perry's return, but maybe I missed it.
But the point remains that no cover-up would have been taking place.
October 19th, 2018 at 12:26 AM ^
Michigan and Harbaugh went through the proper channels, they didn’t cover up anything “ffs”
October 19th, 2018 at 12:35 AM ^
That is a concept he cannot seem to grasp, among others
October 18th, 2018 at 10:34 PM ^
Not sure how you conflate Urban Meyer with LTT - it's not even a good stretch. The two are so very different, it's not even laughable. Get off your horse...
October 18th, 2018 at 10:37 PM ^
October 18th, 2018 at 10:41 PM ^
Ironic name given Zach Smith's love of toys.
He screwed up and paid the price. Who the fuck are you to get bent out of shape about it?
October 18th, 2018 at 10:47 PM ^
October 18th, 2018 at 10:41 PM ^
You just said he plead guilty like Grant Perry.
Why aren't you up in arms about him playing last year and this year?
October 18th, 2018 at 10:44 PM ^
October 19th, 2018 at 2:30 AM ^
Did different things? So did LTT and Zach Smith.
October 18th, 2018 at 10:44 PM ^
Geez - you'd do well to calm down and breathe, kid. Not that you'd actually listen to the interview, but LTT wasn't allowed back on the team for one reason or another. That didn't happen and you're getting worked up over something you're playing out in your own head.
Lastly, yes, the Zach Smith situation and LTT's situations were pretty different.
October 18th, 2018 at 10:46 PM ^
October 18th, 2018 at 10:56 PM ^
Wait... you have a problem with Harbaugh if he tried to get LTT back in the team? Why didn’t you just say so? We would have NEVER known...
October 18th, 2018 at 10:57 PM ^
October 18th, 2018 at 11:11 PM ^
Come on man, if you have a problem just come out and say it...
October 18th, 2018 at 11:13 PM ^
Say what? I have a problem if Harbaugh really lobbied to get LTT back on the team. I’ve done nothing but say that. Allowing someone to come back on the team after they videotaped themselves having sex with an incapacitated person is not appeopriate.
October 18th, 2018 at 11:14 PM ^
Why didn’t you just say that in the first place?
October 18th, 2018 at 11:19 PM ^
October 18th, 2018 at 11:22 PM ^
Perhaps it should have been more forcefully stated?
October 19th, 2018 at 12:05 AM ^
October 19th, 2018 at 12:12 AM ^
I don’t see a ton of forceful outrage in “Former UM OT Logan Tuley-Tillman was interviewed yesterday by Chris Howard on his podcast "The Player and the Fan."”...
October 19th, 2018 at 4:59 AM ^
That was the best exchange I have ever seen on here, What was his problem again?
October 19th, 2018 at 7:59 AM ^
What?
"If there was actually a push to have LTT back we have a big problem."
Has been met with multiple people defending him having sex with someone who was incapacitated while filming. It's been met with multiple people saying they would have been ok with him coming back to the team. Hell, they're even saying "well if harbaugh had gone through proper channels" it would have been ok. That's exactly the defense OSU fans did with AA. We should be better than that.
What LTT did disqualified him from being at UM. Harbaugh should not have been pushing to get him back, as alleged in this interview.
October 19th, 2018 at 9:24 AM ^
Your position just isn't that clear...
October 18th, 2018 at 11:00 PM ^
So Grant Perry and LTT's situations were different but Zach Smith's and LTT's were the same. Got it.
He was a kid that fucked up while drunk. Is it bad to take a video of yourself having consensual sex with someone who allegedly doesn't know? Of course it is. Is it the same as beating a woman or raping children and student athletes. IMO no and it's not even close. If you want someone to bash, Brandon Gibbons (and maybe Taylor Lewan) come to mind.
Lastly if you listen to the interview, he has turned his life around and is now helping at risk kids do the same. I would take him over you and your high horse any day of the week.
October 18th, 2018 at 11:08 PM ^
Allowing him to continue to represent Michigan would have made us no better than Meyer. I don’t care if LTT is doing good things these days, anyone arguing that he should have remained on the team is completely wrong. Set the expectation, remember when we all cheered that? Now when a player has sex with someone too drunk to know that they are being videotaped, suddenly that expectation gets dropped. Be better.
And yes ffs there’s a big difference between grabbing someone and what LTT did ffs. Wouldn’t have had any problem if Perry was gone as well. There’s no gray area for LTT, he had to go.
October 18th, 2018 at 11:38 PM ^
Everyone agrees that LTT was just as incapacitated. This is not to say being drunk is an excuse for a sexual assault, but in this case, with these facts, I think you are being a little extreme. Both parties agreed the sex was drunken, but consensual. He screwed up when he used her phone to take a video. This wasn't a case of sexual assault, as much as it was poor judgement by both parties.
October 19th, 2018 at 10:34 AM ^
Since you’re getting so much shit, I’ll say I agree with you, and I’m also uncomfortable with Perry being on the team. Commenters are acting like if you don’t yell “HE SHOULDN’T EVEN BE ON THE TEAM” every time Perry catches the ball, you’re a hypocrite. I think if we’re acting like we have the moral high ground with #settheexpectation, the expectation should be a hard line on sexual assault.
Can I see differences among Perry, LTT, Smith, and Meyer? Of course. But at the end of the day, they all failed to meet expectations.
October 18th, 2018 at 11:36 PM ^
Wait... this guy has a high horse? How in the heck is that not illegal? What a strange time we live in...
October 18th, 2018 at 11:24 PM ^
Get a life, dork.
October 18th, 2018 at 11:52 PM ^
It’s different because Zach Smith was beating his wife multiple times over a number of years and it was covered up by adults who are supposed to be in charge.
LTT was a college kid who made a singular bad decision, kid the price, and turned his life in a positive direction.
The fact you can’t see that means there’s much more “wrong” with you than the rest of the people commenting here.
