I just started the first episode. This season is following Independence Community College in Independence, Kansas. Their QB is Malik Henry, formally of FSU and as the OP said, Kingston Davis, formally of Michigan. I loved the first two seasons of LCU, so here's to hoping this season will be as entertaining with brawls on the field.
Cool, thanks for the update. Something football related to binge watch.
FOOTBAWWWWWWWWWWW
The first two seasons were so great. I'm amazed how under the radar this show is.
I recommended the first season to a guy at work who after I thought about it, really wasn't going to be able to relate to this show. He is a football fan but he likes baseball more than football.
I thin his issue is that some people aren't going to be interested in a reality show about poor Americans or people who have been in trouble, regardless of race. On the other hand, I wonder if his love for baseball would interest him in a similar show if was about baseball prospects in the Dominican Rebublic. It would be an interesting experiment.
1. I love LCU
2. I love baseball
3. I would love a show about the baseball prospects in the DR.
MLive had a story about baseball in the DR a few days ago. It was very interesting.

Watch Pelotero if you haven't, It's about Miguel Sano's recruitment/signing
Fantastic, now I have a reason to sit on my couch and eat wings while being a lazy piece of shit all weekend. Hopefully season 3 is just as good as 1 & 2.
Just watched the 1st episode of this season, and my observations.
1. The coach is an idiot
2. The coach isn't very good
3. This is gonna be a very good season
4. The coach might lose this team.
Just watched the first episode. Impressive that you can get blown out like that by a community college in Iowa while you have a roster of D1 players. Might not have the best coaching. TBD
That Iowa Western team has some players who ended up going to D1 schools.
Iowa Western is a football factory. Would like to see them play East Miss or AZ.
Can’t wait to binge this weekend!
Dude so far, compared to previous seasons, this is the best thru 2 episodes. The coach is hilarious. They haven't developed the players as of yet, but the coach can carry a show by himself.
Better than the last guy
"WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU, YOU FUCKING FUCK.....alright boys let's pray. Dear Jesus..."
Yeah, he calls some of his players, "fuck sticks"
Didn't take long to find out the coach is not a fan of Kingston Davis.
I see why Kingston Davis isn't on the team.
I just looked up his stats from that season... Not great.
Kid is a fumble machine and a head case.
I didn't think there was a coach they could find that would find that is worse than Buddy Stevens. I think they did.
Malik Henry is a garbage
Yeah, that kid is a mess on and off the field. He will end up at McDonald's. Davis, isn't much better on the field. Very easy to see why he transferred. Most of these kids do not belong in college.
The thing I never understood about football - and I played 30 yrs ago - is why coaches think that tantrums motivate players. Nothing like having a grown man scream at a teenager about the teenager's bad attitude.
The coach is a joke. These kids need structure and a positive role model and he just wants them all to know he is from Compton and is just as immature as they are.
That coach is an alcoholic. He's also not a very good coach.
I binged this on a flight to Asia over the weekend. Anyone else finish it?
Kingston Davis...didn’t do himself any favors. Good thing UAB snapped him up before it aired.
Highly entertaining season, the change of scenery was welcome. Years ago I spent time in the Coffeyville/Independence area and there are some great people there.
