Michigan gets first crystal ball for Zach Harrison
Looking at his history it seems like a guy who throws some things out there based on possible rumors but he is 12 for 13 so far this year so there's that.

Donovan Warren came here.
If it does come down to that you might as well consider him to be going to OSU. He's not going to look at one year where Michigan does better than OSU and decide based on that. OSU has been better for 10+ years and projects to be better for the next few. Not saying they will be but they definitely project to be right now.
Zach, you know who has the better Dline, better Defensive coaches, a higher ratio of its Dline getting drafted, and better academics. Come here to your brighter future, Zach.
But really, only the academics are better at Michigan. As good as gmatt is, and i love him, osu dline is ALWAYS one of their strongest positions. They bring stud after stud in, and put stud after stud out. Larry Johnson is a force that hopefully retires soon.
jackass paul…. what a crock you just typed above... let me enlighten you on other things that are "better".... IN NO ORDER
1. Student body are VERY accomplished, and far more often than not, well-rounded, very intelligent people.... cannot say the same for OSU who accepts everyone.. I would take the college experience in Ann Arbor over Columbus any day.
2. Most living alumni in the world.... has good benefits.
3. Ann Arbor the college town is quite good. Been to OSU a few times and wasn't enthused.
4. Michigan Football player peers tend to be more law abiding than OSU's... fact....
what else did I miss????
And our D-Line isn't ALWAYS one of our strongest positions, and one of the strongest positions in the country in general?
Analysts get points for getting CBs right, so he could just be throwing out a shot in the dark to try to get more points when everyone else has OSU. But hopefully he's right and a flood of CBs starts coming in!
He may just be going for the ballz points here but he is a UM football insider. I'll give him that. Last week he did predict we'd get 3 commits in 2 days and that on the 2nd day one would be in the afternoon and one in the evening. Which all happened. That said,I'm not going to dare hope though. I'm protecting this heart.
I would not give him that much credit.
He probably read your comments and used them as his.
Love the trolling of that fan base, sincere prediction or not.
Don't believe it.
Buckeye who is enjoying burning ants under the magnifying glass is all.
(Obvious defense mechanism on my part at play).
I’m not getting my hopes up about pulling a kid right out of Urban Meyer’s own backyard, but stranger things have happened.
Sometimes kids want to move away from home for college to be more independent. We got Brandon Johns from EL and Izzo. I don’t think Urban’s gravitational pull is any stronger than Izzo’s.
Charlie Weis had a pretty strong gravitational pull and it didn't help him much.
Urban is definitely a better recruiter. And he's in the middle of a bunch of absolutely great seasons. Izzo is on the decline.
Wishful thinking
He's Blue but looking for stronger reasons that keep him home. Bottom line, the guy has a great head on his shoulders and is going to make the right call for himself and his future, regardless of his mom's leanings. His parents will quickly get over it, as will his community, and the real friends will remain forever. Zach's very insightful and telling when he indicates the guys are just different in both programs. He gets it and likely sees how this is also reflected in both institutions at large. It's just a matter of what he thinks best complements the person he wants to be. And that sounds like Michigan to me.
FYI: you can easily be a Columbus guy and not be a Buckeye, and still be a Columbus guy and a Wolverine forever. Additionally, don't underestimate the pull of a Harbaugh or what a new coach like Al Washington means to the youth of our program. Al, as a Watterson/BC grad, understands the value of education and the ephemeral dynamics of what's before Zach in Columbus. He also knows that a school like Michigan is NATIONAL and matters wherever he goes.
This kid’s not coming to UM. Meyer gets who he wants and nothing will change with this kid. Urbz will let UM and Harbaugh think they have a chance then Meyer will flash all those championship rings and Harrison will sign with OSU. Just like Meyer is going to offer the Gray kid at the last minute and Gray will flip to the Nuts.
Harrison is the 3rd 5* from Ohio in the last four classes. The other two went to ND and Clemson and were both kids Meyer badly wanted.
I actually watched his video interview... We have a chance...yep.... It was his body language when speaking of how OSU players vs Michigan interact with one another and this sounded very much like the OSU stars were aloof whereas outs were engaging with all one another, and he's favors us here. I'm liking our chances more and more.
That's what I saw too. But the stress on the kid, all 17 years old of him, from the "local" expectations is going to be excruciating. He seems like an intelligent, well-grounded kid but...
Will take any CBs for top players! A little hope never killed anyone. If he doesn't come, we'll be alright!
GO BLUE!!
Exactly....NO one here is likely to get their hopes up so the disappointment will be limited if he goes to OSU...on the other hand....imagine the meltdown in OSU land IF he chooses UM....that would be epic :)
we should all tweet him and tell him he should come here. /s
He’s going to be conflicted and confused all the way up to the moment when he announces his commitment to Ohio State.
His parents want him to go Ohio St. He wants Michigan. That's the bind. When he talks "confusion" that is what he is talking about.
