Defense, it wins championships you know.
February 2nd, 2014 at 6:52 PM ^
Seattle's defense is the NFL version of Michigan State. They just play with so much swag. So envious. Both as a Michigan fan and a Lions fan.

If Shazor had been placed in this Seattle backfield he would look EXACTLY like Kam Chancellor

February 2nd, 2014 at 6:55 PM ^
Why would you wear a dark visor in a night game?
February 2nd, 2014 at 6:57 PM ^
That's like asking why you would wear sunglasses in a nightclub.
It's all about the swag, yo.
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:01 PM ^
To look like a badass. Wish Michigan players were allowed to wear visors.
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:03 PM ^
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:08 PM ^
I think I read that the coaches think it impedes their vision too much. I think Breaston wore one briefly though.
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:08 PM ^
They're not allowed anymore in college for safety - to make it easier to tell if a player is unconscious.
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:19 PM ^
We don't wear clear ones either though.

oh man the 'hawks have come to play.
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:03 PM ^
Yeah 'ol Mo is on their side - because they are bringing it on both sides of the ball.
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:02 PM ^
Denver interior DL is winning so far...the differrence in this game so far.
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:06 PM ^
matchups the difference in the game?
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:09 PM ^
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:11 PM ^
one score game despite Denver running a whole 4 offensive plays....that is why. Denver forcing seattle to throw the ball and keeping the game in shouting distance. That is why it is a whole 8-0 despite nothing from the Denver O
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:12 PM ^
But shouldn't the "difference in the game" be something in Seattle's favor, given that they are ahead?
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:24 PM ^
The difference in the game is Seattle's defense mauling Denver's offense.
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:04 PM ^
dont understand that challenge Fox.....he just got some bad advice.
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:05 PM ^
Agree. There is no way he is winning that.
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:05 PM ^
Annnnd the award for X milions dollars wasted on a Super Bowl commercial goes to Bud Light.
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:08 PM ^
Are you kidding me???
It was such a genius concept - undercover recording a random guy on a crazy night - taking him up an elevator with Don Cheadle and a Llama only to end up playing ping pong with Arnold Schwarzenneggar? How awesome would that be?!?!
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:09 PM ^
pretty awesome for the guy. pretty shitty if you're just watching the commercial
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:21 PM ^
I would hope nobody had a "shitty time" watching a beer commercial. If your mood is affected by a beer commercial to that degree, I'm sorry for you.
I though Arnold calling ping pong "tiny tennis" was funny enough for the whole commercial.
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:27 PM ^
this country has completely fallen behind in it's quality of commercials. that was a shitty one.
We, as Americans, should expect more. If we're not exceptional in commercials, then we truly have lost out American exceptionalism.
I, for one, will be writing my congressman demanding that the advertising industry receive more subsidies.
It's a moral imperitive.
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:06 PM ^
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:06 PM ^
With some luck, Denver could break 10 yards of total offense in the first quarter. They currently have all of eight yards on five plays, or 1.625 yards per play.
Also, is this going to be the "Eff it, here's a challenge..." game now?
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:07 PM ^
these commercials are turrible. step up your game, souless ad execs
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:12 PM ^
Do we have a blowout in the making?
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:14 PM ^
I sort of hope so, but still want to see a decent game. I don't like Manning.
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:12 PM ^
Greatest Show on Turf being stymied by a stingy defense and young quarterback?
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:14 PM ^
Wilson throws like Rita Wilson.
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:18 PM ^
Uh he's no Brady, but Russell Wilson has a damn good arm.
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:22 PM ^
He isn't an elite passer, but that doesn't mean he isn't a good QB. He clearly is a winner. I just think the comparison to Brady is a bit premature.
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:27 PM ^
Totally agree with that and as a second year pro he's got nowhere to go but up. I just assumed by comparing him to Rita Wilson you were saying he wasn't any good. He's shown the ability to make just about every throw and has the work ethic to get him there now it's just a matter of putting together the resume.
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:13 PM ^
This game has the makings of a blowout.
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:14 PM ^
before getting on the field, too. OTOH, Denver still lucky to only be down 8.
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:14 PM ^
We've had a run of mostly very good games over the past decade of Super Bowls. Are we getting a "throwback" blowout tonight?
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:17 PM ^
As long as we don't go back to that 80s/90s run where the NFC dominated for like 10yrs or so I can deal with a blow out here and there.
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:15 PM ^
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:15 PM ^
The Radio Shack commercial was pretty good - lots of good 80s references there. I'm sure most kids were like wtf was that ant-eater.... (Alf)
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:16 PM ^
game coach. I knew Seattle would come out with their hair on fire.
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:16 PM ^
I guess Peyton Manning's NOT the greatest QB of all time? Ridiculous that people were saying if he won THIS game the debate was over.
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:18 PM ^
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:19 PM ^
better than Montana. No one is better than Montana. You might equal him, but better? Nah.
