Beilein has now won everywhere in the Big Ten besides Columbus
With tonight's victory in Madison, Beilein just needs to win in Value City Arena to have won everywhere in the Big Ten.

Coach B just knows how to coach kids and frankly he has never had the talent like he has now and had last year.

In 2012-2013, Michigan's #1 in the nation offense scored 120.3 points per 100 possessions. The 2013-2014 team lost the national player of the year and another first round draft pick, but scores 120.6 points per 100 possessions. They got better. Incredible job, although I am at the point where I am no longer surprised.

Think this will affect recruiting? Have to believe it will only be positive for future recruits considering Michigan.

In all fairness, offense is up 4-5 points per 100 possessions because of the rule changes this year, so compared to the rest of college basketball, Michigan is down a few points.
But, still very impressive given the loss of Burke (and Hardaway).

I am no recruiting expert, but you would have to believe that this improves recruiting, right? Beilein is showing year after year that he can adjust and have his team (and in particular his offenses) perform at an elite level. Also, the year to year development of guys like Caris and Nik has to be another signal to recruits that the guy can flat out coach. Good things are ahead as long as Beilein is around. adding to your comment, freshman know they can come in and play right away. They know they will develop and (potentially) move on to the NBA.

The last time we'd beaten Wisconsin in football/basketball in Madison prior to tonight was 2001. By comparison, the last time we've beaten Ohio in football/basketball in Columbus is 2003.

I was 8 at that time. I literally remember watching that game and going to school the next day and bragging to my osu friends. And we haven't won there since. I'd say we're due.

In that case, let the good vibrations of 2014 that we have experienced last until February 11th (and beyond, of course) in Columbus. Massey would give us a 40% probability if the game were played right now, but basketball is funny sometimes - Massey didn't like our chances against Wisconsin at home either and that turned out nicely all the same.

I think we go 0-2 vs. MSU.
I think we go 1-1 vs. OSU, each winning on each others home floor
I think we go 2-0 vs. IU.
I think we lose @ Iowa, or 1-1 vs. Iowa because this game at home is a toss-up IMO, but we'll win at least 1.
I think we lose 1 game (like @PSU last year) that will drive everyone bat shit crazy. Someone will say 'Fire Beilein' and 20 people will demand that poster is banned for life. GhostofYost will die again in his grave.
I believe that's 11-5 in conference. 24-9 overall.
Here's the kicker...I think we WIN the B1G Tournament. Low #4 seed/High #5 seed.

Erazem Lorbek went pro. It was about 10 years ago when it happened, but it created a chain reaction of events that affects MSU even today. Far worse than any other program has been hurt by early departures.
