Senior, RS Junior, RS Junior, RS Junior, RS Sophomore. Wisconsin's o-line plus two seniors at TE.
And 7 seniors starters on D and no defensive starter that is any younger than a RS Sophmore.

In 2011 Michigan had a new coach and the players played very well.

UW: James White
6 carries, 116 yards. IU defense and such, but still.

Ohio State's success is making this year even more difficult.

Braxton will probably get pulled after they punch this one in? I don't see any reason to leave him in there. Keep him healthy for Michigan and the Bowl Game.

I want what Wisconsin has.

3 Rose Bowls in a row. Michigan has no right to talk shit about what Wisconsin has done in owning the Big Ten.

What's Michigan's claim to fame? Getting owned by USC in the Rose Bowl? I don't know what everyone around here is waiting for, that is what Michigan was the last time we "were back." Unless we're talking about success SIXTEEN YEARS ago. Which is ridiculous. We would laugh at Nebraska or Tenneseee or Virginia Tech fans talking about "man, when are we going to be restored to where we should be as national title contenders." Yet that's all we do here. Not everyone gets to go to the national championship, it's about time people here learn to live with that.
November 16th, 2013 at 2:29 PM ^
Yep, that Bo Schembechler was a pretty mediocre coach, going 2-8 in the Rose Bowl and losing three in a row in 77-78-79.

Wisconsin 27
Indiana ZERO
But but but our defense isn't that bad!
November 16th, 2013 at 1:11 PM ^
But you probably just forgot that.
November 16th, 2013 at 1:14 PM ^
Uhh...47 is a lot > 28
Also most yards given up in school history
November 16th, 2013 at 1:18 PM ^
And, uh, UM scored 63 which is a lot more than 42.
November 16th, 2013 at 1:20 PM ^
Michigan's defense is not even close to as good as msu's, but they should not be as bad as they have been at times this year.
November 16th, 2013 at 1:18 PM ^
49>47.
November 16th, 2013 at 1:20 PM ^
Yes...and osu's defense was not very good last year. But it did improve over the course of the seaon. Something our team has not done.
November 16th, 2013 at 1:28 PM ^
Apparently you have forgotten that that was(and still is) an OSU defense loaded with Tressell recruits. Recruits who had years to play in that same system coached primarily by the same coaches. Meyer didn't change much, if anything, about OSU's defense.
Mattison meanwhile is playing freshman and sophomores mixed in with RichRod recruits. Is the defense where it needs to be? Nope. Mattison himself will say that. But UM is still young.
Btw, Mork third defense at MSU gave up 26 points per game and 380 yard per game. This froma guy who has the best defense in the Big Ten as we speak.
November 16th, 2013 at 1:34 PM ^
What freshman and sophomores are we starting on defense? I can't wait to hear this.
Nobody on the defensive line has improved at all this season. Don't you think that's a red flag?
November 16th, 2013 at 1:39 PM ^
November 16th, 2013 at 1:42 PM ^
playing pretty well considering his inexperience.
Look at UM's roster and then look at MSU's. You'll notice a significant difference in experience. You also have to note that UM's experience players are guys recruited largely by RichRod and GERG.
November 16th, 2013 at 1:40 PM ^
UM rotates so much that starting doesn't matter as much. Look at the two deep. It's filled with youth.
Anyways, Mattison knows what he is doing. Look at his track record. If this continues next year then yeah we have to start worrying. As I showed you before struggles in Year Three is not necessarily an indicator of future struggle. Look at Dantanio's third season on defense. It wasn't good.
November 16th, 2013 at 1:14 PM ^
Not really sure what to make of Michigan State going into this Nebraska game now.
November 16th, 2013 at 1:17 PM ^
He also forgot to mention that Coleman, he of the 985 rushing yards so far this year, is not playing for Indiana. Wouldn't want to let those details get in the way of his hate for Mattison.
November 16th, 2013 at 1:10 PM ^
It seems like more really, but Ohio State has only got 242 yards of offense in the first 20 minutes or so of regulation, but it is only on 24 plays - basically 10 yards per snap, which seems about right when you're playing Illinois.
Also, Nathan Scheelhaase will just have to work on altering time itself and somehow throwing before the snap is perceived. It might be the only way now.
November 16th, 2013 at 1:12 PM ^
I looked at OSU's 2014 schedule. The only games they could legitimately be challenged are maybe VaTech at home and Sparty in EL. They skip Wiscy and Neb. UM will be a sacrifice at home. I guess @ Minnesota is their 2nd toughest Big10 game. Or weak PSU. They have a real chance (excluding bowls) of going undefeated 3 seasons in a row. But no worries, we are just 1 recruiting class away from matching it.

It does when you walk into the depth chart that he did. It took Dabo Swinney until year 4 to really get going. It took Mack Brown until year 4.

November 16th, 2013 at 1:33 PM ^
No it wouldn't because that new coaches would have Hoke's recruting classes not RichRod's epic disasters.
