Ann Arbor Celebrity/Star Map
The e-TrueBlue Alumni Association has a great feature (LINK) Madonna Slept Here that provides Ann Arbor addresses for famous alumni. It's broken down into:
Engineers, Doctors & Scientists,
Performing Artists, and
Gerald Ford? 908 Monroe St.
Arthur Miller? 439 S. Division
Tom Harmon? 602 Monroe St.
So, board members - have you shared an address with a famous Wolverine? Tell us in the comments!
Shared a house with Brendan Morrison, Jason Botterill, Blake Sloan, Warren Luhning, and one other non-hockey player.
I lived at 1620 Miller. Go by it every football Saturday on my way to Michigan Stadium from Indiana.

Wait, Gerald Ford lived at Dominic's?
No wait, that sounds right.
Sounds especially right after the 1934 1W-7L season. That would call for a copious dose or two of sangria.
Isn't there like an aparment above it...or connected to it or something like that?
lived at 3 different addresses ... however the last home was 308 Arbana, and I was told that the title search contained the previous owners names .... which included a Michigan Legend ... Benny Oosterbahn.

Not an athlete but the original owners of my current house on Stadium were the Castors who also owned the Pretzel Bell.
Old timers on this site will know that the Pretzel Place was THE place to drink in the 50's, 60's and 70's in Ann Arbor.
We're attempting to live up to their high standards of party hosting.
And the Men's room was downstairs. they simply had a "floor gutter" with water sprayed from the walls .... so you just pissed against the wall. So the Board of Health frowned on THAT ??

I could give you a driving tour and point out Bo's first Ann Arbor house on Arlington, Canham's house on Newcastle and Bob Ufer's house on Glenwood. Ufer drove a maize and blue Buick I think.
In Hoc. What year?
Well this is awkward...
I lived at 602 Monroe! Didn't know Harmon used to live there
I was told by my landlord that my old house was rented by a bunch of Rick Leach's offensive linemen. I guess they would shake the whole house and had some pretty awesome parties. Also we were the "'U Honk We Drink' on the porch of a State St flophouse" house after the football games.
I lived in 7th Huber, didn't know a lot of BBall players have lived there.
I also lived in 524 S. Forest, which housed one of our more infamous alums.

A high school friend lived in the same bedroom that the Unabomber lived in as a student. Allegedly. At least, the plaque above the bed claims that he slept there.

I lived in South Quad - Fred House during my freshman year, but can't remember the number. I really hope it was 1814 (thats where Desmond lived).
Does anybody have a floor plan that lists the dorm numbers? Google wasn't helpful. Or maybe somebody remembers the numbers? I was 1st floor Fred, at the very end of the hallway that goes east/west, on the south side of the hall.
East end of 1st floor on south side is 1817. I'm renovating South Quad and have a floor plan. 1814 is across the hall on the north side. Sorry.
NOOOOOOO SO CLOSE TO GREATNESS
/coolstorybro
I lived in 4810 Taylor South Quad, didn't know that was next door to Lucy Liu's old place
No stars on Sauer Court. Can't say I'm surprised.
I had the same dorm room as Les Miles
Guess that explains why Coach ______'s wife kept stopping by.
One of my friends lived in a house on the corner of South U. and Oxford (don't remember the exact address, 588 Oxford, maybe?), that was nicknamed Heisman house well before Nissan's commercial series of the same name. The purported former resident? Desmond Howard.
Pat Doyle, ceo of dominos, is a fraternity brother. we lived in the house 2 years together.
My freshman year (his sophomore year - NC year, 1997)...in one of the single rooms facing the courtyard in 2nd Hinsdale.
Some guy came to visit us on football Saturdays and said he used to hang out there and one tenant used to date Jane Fonda back in the day, possibly before/after or during the Tom Hayden courtship. It may have been Hayden he never said. But Jane used to hang out there all the time. I'm not really sure on the whole timeline so I can't narrow it down.
