But I was checking out rcmb and there was a thread about biff poggi and some very negative tweeds toward the big ten. I take rcmb with an enormous grain of salt, but has anyone here seen this? They also have a thread dedicated to how amazing their uniforms and shoes looked today. I thought it was sarcastic at first, but they really did think they were amazing. Sorry, I refreshed and there was a recruiting thread up. I will re-post my questio their.

Seriously in the inbounds plays michigan was terrible. The one on the sideline that turned into two easy points for Illinois was especially bad. Just from experience, when a player does shit like jumping up and down that close to you, you bounce the ball off their midsection and back to you. They won't be as aggressive next time. These are still young players... Haven't learned all the tricks I guess...

Couldn't find anything but from what little I know about ankle sprains, I'm guessing he's 50/50 for the Indiana game.  Anybody have an insight into that?

20 games in and I haven't seen domination from tip off to end of the game, maybe it isn't really doable, but to have our team play a so-so game and win by 14 on the road is quite impressive. We have a brutal stretch with MSU, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Ohio coming up.... That's a situation you can walk out of 1-3 in.

Can anyone figure out what the hell is going on with all the ticky tack fouls this year.  It's unbearable to watch since it just kills the flow of everything.  Wisconsin was in the bonus less than 5 minutes into the 2nd half yesterday vs MN.  I was really sweating bullets when Morgan went down since you knew Mitch would get in foul trouble.  Of course the bench came through but it's getting frustrating watching every Big Ten game turn into a free throw contest halfway thru each half.

Do you think it's coming from higher ups or the refs just getting tv (especially TV Ted) and power hungry

Couldn't disagree more. Jesus Christ , the whole Champaign was amped up to ruin MIchgan's #1 potential ranking. Illinois made several charges but each time was answered by at least three very impressive runs. Defensively everyone played well, particularly the improving freshmen. Did Burke play one on one too much or get lazy on an inbound pass? Sure but the guy still had 19 points, 5 assists, 5 boards, 3 steals and didn't allow Illinois to press successfully.

Illinois plays a wild style and jacked up many long 3's that is condusive to some sloppy plays, but the entire team passed this test rather easily on the road. No criticisms here!

I just want to say, this team is a delight to watch. The excitement with which I anticipate these games--and the sheer enjoyment sustained while watching them--is normally reserved for a favorite team's run in the Finals (Pistons, Wings, etc.). But this is every game. Really, it's a wondrous thing to behold. The only comparison I can make is M football ca. 2006 That is all

It's a sight to behold to watch the freshmen grow and develop as the season progresses.
