Either one of them wil take on this task. I expect Wisky to get hammered in this game. The Nebraska smashing was just a bad showing by the Huskers and not indicative of how well Wisky will play out there.

Wisconsin's record may be silly for a conference champ, but they were in every game they played. Biggest loss was by 7, three of their losses in OT and most by only a field goal. Yes, a loss is a loss, but to shrug the rolling cheese off as a weak opponent is...well...weak. I feel Stanford is an excellent matchup for them, but even in defending Wisconsin here I still think the tree takes the cheese, but it should be a good game.

this is a horrible idea. alvarez hasn't coached in years, and i doubt he's very familiar with the playbook. it probably wouldn't matter, though, as wiscy is going to get stomped on regardless. as good as ball is, he'll be lucky to sniff the endzone that day.

If nothing else running Alvarez out there for the Rose Bowl takes a nice jab back at Bielema.

You have an AD who is too involved and thinks he can still coach. Like having Jerry Jones as your owner. Looks like Bret isn't making huge money, Arkansas is probably a lateral move, and he wont be in an easier environment to win 9 plus games/year SO one has to conclude he just wants to be his own guy. The real question is why Arkansas wanted Beilema, but then again they hired John L Smith...
