OT: Pats vs. Broncos NFL Playoff Open Thread
I was going to create an NFL Open Thread, but I didn't want to overlap the pseudo-open thread the Arrington thread had become, and I wasn't going to be in for all of it anyway. But now we have the most hyped, if not the best game of the weekend (that one might be going on right now). Brady vs. Tebow. Will Tebow fair better against this Michigan QB? We shall see. Should be an interesting one. Will be hard to top how the 49ers and Saints are going right now.

Looking forward to this game...and wow Jimmy Graham just made a great catch to put NO back in front
January 14th, 2012 at 8:11 PM ^
And Saints defense fails once again.
January 14th, 2012 at 8:13 PM ^
4 lead changes in the last minutes. Wow.
January 14th, 2012 at 8:19 PM ^
QB's in the Pros are learning from Denard. Take a chance, throw it up, and let your playmakers makes plays.
January 14th, 2012 at 8:20 PM ^
This was going to be the type of game where the last team with the ball would win, and it basically played out that way. Happy for 49ers fans, not super happy for Harbaugh because he seems like an ass, but the 49ers made the plays when they needed to and Vernon Davis reminded everyone why he is one of the top 2-3 TEs in the game.
January 14th, 2012 at 8:22 PM ^
the TE out of the backfield is just crazy. Totally awesome crazy
January 14th, 2012 at 8:24 PM ^
for Pats-Broncos talk and got a bunch of 49ers-Saints talk. I suggest the mods delete and we start over.

so yea..this Tom Brady guy is pretty decent.
January 14th, 2012 at 8:42 PM ^
I'm more impressed with his mechanics and especially how quick his release is every time I see him play.
January 14th, 2012 at 8:39 PM ^
i say a blow out for the NE vs Den game....Tebow has no answer
January 14th, 2012 at 9:51 PM ^
just reflect on what i said before the game, that's exactly whats happening
January 14th, 2012 at 9:55 PM ^
I think you were the only one in America predicting that. How'd you see it coming?
January 14th, 2012 at 10:34 PM ^
come to the msu game, i will tell ya.
January 14th, 2012 at 10:52 PM ^
We talking basketball? Hockey? Gymnastics?
January 14th, 2012 at 10:55 PM ^
whichever u pick bro, maybe badminton?
January 14th, 2012 at 10:56 PM ^
And not someone else who claims he knew the Pats would win? Lack of capitalization?
January 14th, 2012 at 11:02 PM ^
cause people who go to badminton don't watch football. im already thinking ahead
January 14th, 2012 at 8:41 PM ^
vs Iowa, and VT a TD in OT.
January 14th, 2012 at 9:49 PM ^
That Iowa thing was exactly the reason I predicted that VT touchdown would get called back.

Turtle needs a better agent. LOL how does he end up in a black romantic comedy?
January 14th, 2012 at 9:42 PM ^
For getting to bang Jamie-Lynn Siegler.
January 14th, 2012 at 8:42 PM ^
Where do you guys think Brady ranks all time among qbs? He's easily the best and most decorated of current qbs
January 14th, 2012 at 9:01 PM ^
I'm totally biased, but I'd say top 5, maybe top 3.
Brady's achievements become even more impressive when you consider that for most of his career he hasn't had a first rate weapon like Jerry Rice at WR except for the three seasons Randy Moss was on the NE roster.
January 15th, 2012 at 2:07 AM ^
No love for Wes Welker? It's cool. He's only had 120 receptions 2 of the last 3 seasons and 100 receptions in four of the last five. It's not like he hasn't been Brady's top weapon since he got to the Pats...
January 15th, 2012 at 11:06 AM ^
Seriously? Maybe you should check who Brady won his rings with before acting all smart-ass.
January 14th, 2012 at 9:43 PM ^
#might be bias
January 14th, 2012 at 8:49 PM ^
Oh Malcolm Jenkins, you scrub. He got toasted so bad, I hope they had some jam and butter ready on the Saints sidelines.
January 14th, 2012 at 8:51 PM ^
I honestly can't tell the difference between Tom Brady and Denard. NE should draft Denard as the heir apparent.
January 14th, 2012 at 8:55 PM ^
Tom Brady's smile isn't quite as luminous.
January 14th, 2012 at 9:54 PM ^
for posting it.
January 14th, 2012 at 9:03 PM ^
I am cheerin for the Broncos and Zoltan Mesko.
January 14th, 2012 at 9:06 PM ^
were cheering for Zoltan Mesko. (Not that I blame them.)
January 14th, 2012 at 9:08 PM ^
You are missed.
January 14th, 2012 at 9:24 PM ^
Brady to Gronk is money.
January 14th, 2012 at 9:35 PM ^
Damn. I hope Shane can even sort of back up that talk about wanting to be like Brady.
January 14th, 2012 at 9:46 PM ^
Gerard Warren doing the Gator Chomp after sacking Tebow was priceless.
January 14th, 2012 at 9:41 PM ^
Hernandez is like a make your own player in Madden. Absurd.
January 14th, 2012 at 9:42 PM ^
Time for Brady and Co to stick another one in the endzone and put this one away before half.
January 14th, 2012 at 9:45 PM ^
Brady is da man!!! 5 TD passes in 1st half!!! /unworthy
January 14th, 2012 at 9:52 PM ^
Pretty much accounted for all the points in the game.
January 14th, 2012 at 9:45 PM ^
He better have a rabbit up his ass for this one.
January 14th, 2012 at 9:48 PM ^
Tebow don't believe in no magic.
January 14th, 2012 at 9:53 PM ^
At halftime warm-ups, I'm not sure they could score enough to win.
January 14th, 2012 at 9:56 PM ^
Denver's offense is a copy cat of the Michigan offense from the 70's with Rick Leach under center.
January 14th, 2012 at 9:54 PM ^
I'm just glad it didn't show literally what I wrote.
January 14th, 2012 at 9:47 PM ^
in the making and--for my $--Brady couldn't have picked a better team to do it against.
