OT: Spurrier was the Tebow dissenter
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=4352863
Burn Spurrier at the stake! This is blasphemy! How dare he not vote for Tebow?!
That in the thread I said that it was Spurrier
+1,000,000 cookies who's baking?
seen someone's points fluctuate so drastically. After being at negative 200 something you rise back up to like +200 if I recall correctly. Now you are back down to 132.
What a phenomenon. I have no idea how you gained 400 points in such a short time but I look forward to riding the point roller coaster that is bouje.
Hey if you want to ride bouje, please do it in private
Cocky self-promotion= negs.
let the record reflect that i also stated it was Spurrier...25 minutes before you

+cookies to you (or points whichever you prefer).
And I didn't just steal your post I I didn't even read the whole thing apparently.
It does not matter who voted for Tebow or didnt. Tebow is still obviously divine and can do no wrong.
will strike him with lightning shortly, no doubt
I vomited in my mouth a little when this was on Sportscenter
Obviously Spurrier should be banned from ever coaching in the NCAA again. How can you not vote for Tim Tebow?
In case we needed further proof how great Tim Tebow is, apparently he is still a virgin and saving himself for marriage. Apparently Joe Boisture has is also saving himself for marriage. Although this is due to the fact he looks like a horse and women wont sleep with him.
Well Jesus also only got 11 of 12 disciples. So why should we expect Tebow to get anything other than 11 of 12 SEC coaches? Just call Spurrier "Judas".
You beat me to the joke.
and look what it cost you.
needs to craft this happening into updated lyrics for "Sympathy for the Devil".
Who did Spurrier vote for- Ryan Mallett?
I think Spurrier must have voted for Duke's quarterback.
Ahh yes, here we have the mighty ball coach. The cult of Tim Tebow is evolving to the point where there is now an Inquisition, and where you see heretics publicly recanting their sins and asking forgiveness. I can't wait til he becomes a second rate NFL player.
NFL scouts would have agreed with putting Snead ahead of Tebow.
who had 12 followers and was betrayed by one of them.
Harbaugh committed blasphemy?
while just simultaneously seeing it pop up as the FRONT PAGE OF ESPN.COM.
I quit.
What will ESPN talk about now?!?! Surely Vick has jumped the shark... oh, never mind.
Wow...
"He said the SEC has let him amend the ballot to add Tebow."
it was going to be Kiffin.
Oh well.
You people are all idiots. Seriously, if you fail to recognize that Tim Tebow is one of the greatest college football players ever and is totally deserving of the hype than you should just stop watching football.
to me and presumably quite a few other people, it's not about recognizing Tebow's immense success in college football or his achievements as an athlete (which I admit are astounding and almost unparalleled), its about ESPN making this their top story.
It has led off Sportscenter, been debated on all of their programs, and has had its own set of updates flash across the bottom of the screen. This is the biggest non-story of all time. He wasn't a unanimous selection, so what? He is All-SEC quarterback anyway. He was one vote off and that one vote was actually meant for him in the first place. Snead is a great player who won in Gainesville last year and won, maybe that is worth one vote. To conduct a witch hunt to find the guy who didn't vote for him is meaningless and indulgent. Has Tebow not been recognized with enough accolades?
It's the incessant ESPN and msm in general carrying his nutsack around for him, and telling us about it every 30 seconds. I'm pretty sick of it too.
Having said that, I agree he's a phenomenal player, one of the best ever (college obvs). The media circus is a bit much, ime.
