I got a great pic of the Rees fumble(sorry not MS Paint)
I got my 30mm lens through security for UTL so I was able to get some great shots. This one was my favorite.
Full Size shot Here You can even see the "oh Shit Brian is gonna stab me" look on his face.

Awesome photo!!

but he might have seen Jibreel Black ready to destroy him, hurried the pass and it just slipped out of his hand. I mean there's no one blocking Black.
September 12th, 2011 at 11:43 AM ^
I have to ask. If he didn't drop the ball is Jibreel Black in good enough position to bat it down?
September 12th, 2011 at 3:11 PM ^
it doesn't look like it. Rees was definitely hurrying his pass. This picture is a couple ticks after it would have been released.

I did enjoy this comment...

hey, look at BWC. he isn't doing half bad in that shot. he needs to get his pads a little lower, but he isn't being stood straight up and his hand level is decent.
September 12th, 2011 at 12:02 PM ^
He had a good 4th quarter.
You can see BWC merited a double-team from the RG and RT, leaving Black unblocked.

Big Will pushed his man 2 yards into the backfield on that big 3rd and 1 tackle by Jake Ryan. His upfield penetration was key... And he definitely got leverage on that play!

Nice double team he is drawing to allow "Black" (did it seem like the ESPN guys did not know any of our players' first names?) to get in there

The look on his face MAKES that picture epic. Kind of reminds me of the fumble Brady Quinn had in the 2006 game that Lamar Woodley picked up and ran back for a score.

Dare I say... "iconic"? Seriously, man, that is a great, great shot. Tip of the hat.
BTW, this wasn't worth posting about last week, but I saw a guy with a freaking cannon (not Canon) of a telephoto lens at the Western game right in front of me. It had to be at least in the 500mm range, like the kind you see the pros on the sideline with. They don't seem to be hyper-interested in enforcing the new lens rule.

I saw a dude with a smaller lens then mine not get through. So I went to another gate.

That makes my picture 100x better...lol

Start with the basics and build on that. Yes, we will be working on keeping your hand on the ball this week.

That is the spirt Irish! Can I get a Smug level Irish? I need this daily during the season. I wish it was just added to my weather report in the mornings. "65 and sunny and Irish's Smug level is up 4.5. That is a bit under the avg".

That look on his face is worth more than pot of gold!

Rees was just trying to get Kelly's head to explode. He failed.

Did anyone else hear the lilting strains of Yakety Sax while viewing that picture?

I fully believe that on this play, God was all like "you know what? I don't normally interfere with this kind of stuff, but that PI call in the endzone the last play was such horse crap, I think I need to intervene.". Then, boom, ball turns to wet soap.

I have a Canon Rebel and was in section 41 row 27. I was using my 300mm lens. It can get me almost anywhere on the field. I used it to see Kirk and Burger up in the press box which tells you the power of the lens.

You missed a 0 in your initial post.
I was wondering where you were sitting that you could have gotten that with a 30 mm lens.
I got the 300mm kit lens with my pentax. Amazing. Like you could reach out and touch something 100 yards away with it at max tele.
