meta: weird points stuff
So some of you may have just experienced a surprising point drop. I'm not entirely sure why that happened since points should not be expiring, but the reason you got a lot of expirations at the same time is that a maintenance script had not been running. I think that's fixed -- it just ran 26 seconds ago -- but I'll have to check with Server Bro to make sure. But.... yeah, shouldn't happen in the future. I will look into why there are a bunch of expirations. I think it may be all the deleted comments from the last three months getting counted at the same time (and remember that innocuous children of deleted comments get nailed too).
As a bonus that script should make the mgolicious feed update regularly now instead of whenver I remember to do it manually.
