Urban Meyer at Spring Practice
Very telling.
So Brady I pont like this and then how do I?
DAMN IT URBAN HAVE SOME BALLS WHEN YOU SAY MANBALL!
This gave me my first smile of the day, thank you very much kind sir.
He's doing it for ESPN
and clip by Blue Dragon
gets me everytime
for when he takes the HC job at TSIO.
To see mattison would be my guess.
Edit: I should really read the article before posting, "Meyer is in town working on a piece for ESPN, his new employer."
Yeah, I believe he just did one with Notre Dame that I caught a glimpse of on ESPN the other day. Must be making rounds of some programs during spring practice. I wonder when it will air.
Denard at Spring Practice
He was working on a piece of the puzzle to our Big Ten title this year.
Very high release...take that Tebow.
What came of the QB derby the Broncos were running last year?
Nobody won
The reason the people in the background are blurry is because Denard stepped into his throw, very good job by borges
My sources then reported that the DB's couldn't stop the receiver from catching the ball since they were blinded by the smile Denard flashed after he released the ball

No, the reason is probably because it's an indoor facility and the photographer was shooting at f2.8 which blurs the background. Him moving would not throw the background out of focus.

Negged for ruining a joke involving Denard smiling.

Actually they're probably blurry because the photographer could not afford the licensing fees.
Good point sir!
Believe it or not, my dog posted that.
I would honestly rather read more posts from your dog than from some of the other folks who have wandered onto this blog in the past. I'd be willing to bet he's far more intelligent.
He was at an ND coaches clinic and then did his ESPN deal before jetting to AA.
It's only 3.5 hours from his new house in C-Bus to AA.
He's scouting for when he takes over at OSU!!!!!
If he's doing what he did at ND, then we should be getting a nice fluff piece on ESPN soon. I'll take it!
looks like he's pointing a lot these days.
Borges is learning too.
Jesus, Borges has some amazing calves.
why he is wearing a rain slicker indoors?
I least there are no red wristbands...
I've heard rumblings around practice that Borges often cries many tears of joy at the prospect of coaching Denard.
Meyer was there to see what a real football faclity looks like. He was impressed, to say the least.
Meyer in ubiquitous UM gear and adidas kicks (please look at RR/OU to see how it's done Meyer).
Unacceptable.
Hoke has yet to sign a contract with the university, right?
What I wouldn't give to kick Hoke to the curb and bring Meyer on board. Dave Brandon might actually appear competent if he pulled that off...
Hmmmm.....no.
You'd rather have Hoke than Meyer?
You're a tool.
For thinking Urban Meyer is a better football coach than Brady Hoke? For thinking it would be awesome if Michigan had Meyer as its head coach, rather than Hoke? That makes one a tool?
Whatever you say, David. Whatever you say.
I think it would behoove us to at least grant our coach the luxury of running his first spring practice session before we speculate about our preferred replacements for him.
March 29th, 2011 at 10:21 PM ^
He's not technically the coach.
And yes, I would take Meyer and his issues over Hoke as things stand today.
Because you fail to realize that Urban Meyer is a tool.
No, because you are talking about kicking Hoke to the curb before he has even coach a game at Michigan!
No, you sir, are a tool because you are trolling hard right now. The OP was about Meyer hanging out at our spring practice and you turn it into a 'Hoke sucks' thread. And I'm a sucker for feeding the troll...

is scum. This is why I didn't want Les Miles, except more so. Countless arrests under his watch at Florida. He ran a circus down there and nobody cared because he won games.
All this comment says is that you care more about winning than integrity.

Urban Meyer can coach. He's a proven commodity. He recruits talent and he wins with that talent. That's more than anyone can say about any coach at Michigan in well over a decade, Brady Hoke included.
And the arrests that occurred on his watch, they're Meyer's fault? Is Meyer supposed to babysit all 85 scholarship players (not to mention walk-ons) 24 hours a day? No, he's not supposed to and he couldn't even if he was. The fact is, many programs have players get into trouble, and Michigan's no exception (see, e.g., Chris Richards, Carson Butler, Mario Maningham, Ryan Mallett, Justin Feagin, Kevin Grady, Boubacar Cissoko, etc.) The real question is how those players are dealt with, and I've seen no evidence that Meyer was anything less than upstanding in his handling of players in these circumstances.
You can say the same thing about Nick Saban. Do you want him coaching at Michigan?
March 30th, 2011 at 11:20 AM ^
Please don't compare Meyer to Saban.
And I don't get the obsession with ripping Meyer and Tebow on a Michigan focused message board. Makes you look small when you obsess.

Uh...2007 Capital One Bowl...
At this point, yes. I don't want a coach who will stick around for a year, and then quit because he's not spending enough time with his kids. Not that spending times with your kids is bad, but he has proven recently that he is not up to the dedication right now that is required for a major program head coach.
THE SPREAD DOES NOT WORK IN THE BIG 10! In all seriousness, just give Hoke a chance.
