Totally! I recognize it isn…

Totally! I recognize it isn't every truck, the Ford dealer said "it happens" with these transmissions and when I said it barely had 70,000 miles on it they essentially said "oh well, at least it didn't happen sooner" at which I said I wish it had so I wouldn't have had to spend over $8K on a new one!

Whole experience was a turn off and I hope to get my $20 in thirty years when the class action suit is settled.

Just had to do this not by…

Just had to do this not by choice.

Had a 2018 F150 XLT with all the fun features, panoramic moonroof, self-installed bed cover, bed liner, etc. 73,000 miles and it fell victim to the Ford transmission monster. They refused to fix it as it was outside of the 60,000 mile warranty. Took it to get another transmission, that one died after 370 additional miles. Unfortunately this whole experience has turned me off of Ford and I went with a SR5 Premium 4Runner that I love so far.

Anyone with the Ford 10-speed automatic, I wish you all the best of luck with your transmissions and I hope you don't have the luck I did!

I was about to post this…

I was about to post this exact same thing. The Tucker-Hoke comparisons (outside of the contract) continue to mount. He knows that this is a problem, but the difference is at least Hoke would have called and apologized, Tuck is going down with his players. Also saw Gemon and his family hired Tom Mars as an attorney, that isn't good news for the MSU players involved.

Time to start planning some…

Time to start planning some trips up to A2 for some games.

I am 100% here for blaming…

I am 100% here for blaming Bill Walton

I totally missed this! I…

I totally missed this! I assume we haven't heard much because the staff still doesn't know how the current players are going to shake out. I would NOT hate adding him.

I think by the end of this,…

I think by the end of this, the only news will be the guys who AREN'T in the portal.

I feel like the banner is…

I feel like the banner is cursed, let's not involve the basketball team in it at all. THX

I think there was a little…

I think there was a little bit of being overrated, but I also saw someone mention this on social media somewhere, but I think the difference in how games are officiated between B1G games and tourney games has been a thorn in the conferences side. Look at Hunter Dickinson last game, he got called for a flagrant on a move that I've watched at least 4 different centers in the B1G use.

I get that this doesn't account for everything that's happened, but I could see it being part of the reason a whole conference has been underwhelming in the tournament.

I know it's a highlight film…

I know it's a highlight film so they won't look bad, but I'd take this on the roster next year. Especially if he is willing to adapt to a more efficient role.

From what I've seen,…

From what I've seen, Illinois is the frontrunner on him

I've been itching for a Matt…

I've been itching for a Matt EM roster update on this! I am very interested to see what this roster looks like next year

I guess it's time for the…

I guess it's time for the NCAA to punish Georgia State for allowing this to happen at an institution in the same state as them...Death Penalty!

I mean, it was for about 4…

I mean, it was for about 4 games

That's his jam, there was…

That's his jam, there was one post-game interview this year where he basically gave one word answers the whole time. He can come off as a little unprofessional but I think that's just what you get with him.

True, I used to work with S…

True, I used to work with S/A victims daily and there are some where the trial and testifying against the people who assaulted and traumatized them helps them heal and seek some closure, everyone is different but your point stands as well.

Coward, I feel awful for his…

Coward, I feel awful for his all of the victims who don't get to see any justice for what was perpetuated by this awful person.

It wasn't at all, I agree…

It wasn't at all, I agree with you completely, I'm fired up at how long this dumb story has run

Except they didn't luck out…

Except they didn't luck out because Chris Hunter is the Director of Basketball Operations, not a coach who was dealing with logistics, thus NOT a violation. Also Juwan was using a laminated play sheet that "looked" like a phone because the video posted was taken by a potato. CAN WE STOP POSTING THIS NON-NEWS? Jesus.

Was it lower before?

Was it lower before?

Not discrediting it, but it…

Not discrediting it, but it definitely kind of sounds like Titus pandering to local fanbases, BUT I'D BE HAPPY TO BE WRONG ABOUT HIM GOING TO MICHIGAN

Now just keep the Madden…

Now just keep the Madden development team away from it, thx.

Totally, I get that. I think…

Totally, I get that. I think everyone on the blog appreciates the work you put into these guys and how professional you keep it with the prospects. BUT, here's to hoping Duren picks the good guys.

Is this because he is…

Is this because he is unlikely to end up in the class? or just it's not worth talking about until there is something more concrete?

I think a lot of it comes…

I think a lot of it comes from not playing competitive sports at a high level and only seeing highlights online where it looks like everyone is dominant always. I mean, look at the thread about Moussa Diabate during the game against Montverde where people thought he looked just OK. You could watch that game and see the incredible potential he has, also he was going against who I think is probably the best player in HS basketball right now.

I am a Zeb stan right now and I think Juwan and the staff are too considering they are force-feeding him minutes and I'm here for it.

TOTALLY. You can't really…

TOTALLY. You can't really write anyone off in college basketball, all it takes is a few games to click and be productive.

Twitter casuals have been…

Twitter casuals have been rough on Zeb, but I really like what the staff is doing with him. He has everything necessary to be a REALLY good player and I think he is one or two makes away from it clicking. The minutes this year are going to really pay off when it clicks and I can't wait to see his growth. That jab step is deadly and is working on some quality defenders.

Also again, what a fun team to watch

OH, I could too...I just…

OH, I could too...I just didn't want to go on and on about something so disappointing in a post about this basketball program. Having grown up and going to all the games during the Ellerbe and Amaker years, I never really thought I'd see this day, but god damn we are a basketball power right now.

How the football team doesn…

How the football team doesn't have that vibe is absolutely beyond me. The 2018 team felt close to that with their revenge tour, but there is no reason the culture in that locker room should be anything other than desperate and ready to fight for everything.

REGARDLESS, this basketball team is so freaking fun and I just am going to sit back and enjoy this season through the ups and downs (there will be Ls). What a great roster, coaching staff and culture this program currently has, the future is freaking bright.

I have not been commenting…

I have not been commenting in a while, but this post alone has fired me up. I respect contract negotiations and how it is a two way street, but what in the world is the thought process here? If you aren't responding to your players, what are you doing? They are the ones who matter here, they chose to play for you and the university, if a coach is this far checked out, or uninvested, why would anyone want to play for him? Players talk, this would just be a further indictment on the broken culture that seems to have permeated through Michigan football.

I just want to see it get turned around and there to be a fire and passion that used to exist.

That cornerback section…

That cornerback section gives me equal amounts of excitement and terror. PLEASE DON'T SCREW THIS UP CAUSE HOLY S#*T THAT CB CLASS COULD BE DOMINANT.

Logged back in just to neg…

Logged back in just to neg you. You represent the worst part of our fanbase, never happy unless they are depressed or negative. I bet you would be the first one to talk about how you knew Joe was going to be a great quarterback if he succeeds. I hope posting this thread made you feel better about yourself.

Whoa, I totally forgot about…

Whoa, I totally forgot about the almighty portal. Good luck to him wherever he lands.

I highly recommend getting fitted for clubs after getting comfortable and a few lessons under your belt. Selfish plug for Miles of Golf since I used to be a fitter there...incredibly knowledgable staff and unmatched stock. Properly fitted clubs can really improve your game and you can propose a price point so you don't break the budget either!

What an awesome pick up for…

What an awesome pick up for the staff. I love his game and he definitely seems to have a high ceiling. I can't believe how this class is already coming together, can't wait to see how it rounds out!

I was really hoping he'd…

I was really hoping he'd stick around, seemed like he could really be a great contributor. But next year is going to be very telling about Juwan and his ability to develop and game plan.

I was wondering if it was…

I was wondering if it was Akins to Sparty or Keels to UVA that you were hinting at. Do you know how hard Michigan is pressing on the in-state guys? Feel like I haven't heard much on them lately.

Couldn't agree more, felt…

Couldn't agree more, felt like for a few months there Juwan was rolling on the recruiting trail and our momentum has slowed since. I do wonder how he is going to fill out the 2021 class given how many spots he'll be looking to fill. I'm really hoping they can snag Akins or Bufkin, but I know both had rumored momentum towards MSU. Gotta think Brooks choosing MSU would sway Bufkin elsewhere, but who knows.

Thanks for the input! Do you…

Thanks for the input! Do you have any concerns right now about 2021, seems like Michigan is missing out on some of their bigger targets. Any ideas as to who else they are going after?

Harbinger. UVA just put out…

Harbinger. UVA just put out a model today that has Virginia's surge happening in August. We all have to take each model with a grain of salt, but without a vaccine or cure I don't see how any university would want sports to return, let alone with fans. Look how quickly the NBA lost control, this is going to be a weird world for a while. Also, I work with a ton of health care professionals and based on what they are saying, I do not see any way that sports will return this calendar year, and I don't see them returning with fans until a vaccine or proper treatment is developed.

I totally get that, I always…

I totally get that, I always felt the injury argument is backwards. If I KNEW I was injury prone (which athletes do) I would always lean towards making the money instead of risking going back to an unknown. Say he gets a late grade, maybe goes undrafted but makes a g league roster. He is still getting paid and has the benefit of possibly making a roster. If he gets hurt in the g league, he still can collect and is in the system. However, if he comes back to school and gets hurt, where does that leave him?

Ultimately I don't think there is a right answer, I just know that I'll be pulling for him regardless of what he picks.

Despite the door being open…

Despite the door being open to him returning, I do feel as though his injuries may be the final factor in deciding to go pro. Why risk injuring yourself again when you can go pro and make some money? I feel he is a better pro prospect than Iggy was last year and he will make a roster one way or another (G league etc.).

With that being said, I would love to have him back next year.

I couldn't be more…

I couldn't be more appreciative of these, and I am sure you have a ton of stuff to do outside of these streams, but would you have any interest in digging up games from the doldrum years (mid-2000s)? My dad and I had season tickets from the early 90s til now and we sat through every game, win or lose. I never did get to re-watch those random big wins like the huge comeback by Daniel Horton his freshman year, and they were so much fun in person and helped make the Beilein years that much more enjoyable.

If this is too much, I will enjoy whatever you put out! Also, everyone, please stay inside. K THX.

Unfortunately moving to VA…

Unfortunately moving to VA has hindered my ability to see them play, but I absolutely streamed it. Handed Witt their only 2 losses of the year and it couldn't be sweeter.

I'm going to go slightly off…

I'm going to go slightly off topic here but as a proud alum, my Wooster Fighting Scots went on the road and defeated our hated rivals, the number 4 ranked Wittenberg University to win the NCAC conference tournament and advance to their 18th consecutive NCAA tournament appearance (D3).

GO SCOTS

I know there were some hard…

I know there were some hard feelings about when he left, but I totally understand him trying to make it work in the NBA. I think Michigan was extremely lucky that they were able to get Juwan and land on it's feet. I hope JB is always welcomed with open arms at Michigan, this program would not be where it is without him.

It is what it is right now…

It is what it is right now. Michigan is missing their leading scorer and a 4 who can truly stretch the D. This roster was funky with Livers and even funkier without. Add Juwan learning on the go and this season was always going to be interesting to say the least.

I hope the 2nd half today is a sign that Juwan is going to run with DDJ more, I feel like you've just got to let him grow and the potential is very much there.

This has been such a drastic…

This has been such a drastic change in recruiting strategies and I am excited to see what Juwan does with his players. Matt, not to divert from the thread topic, but what do you think the percentages are on Todd sticking around instead of going overseas?

Maybe this is an unpopular…

Maybe this is an unpopular opinion, but I think this would be such a fun format for fans. Would the coaches and players like this? I can't say, but to think about all of these good match ups and the possibility of an upset is exciting.

Not sure why you are getting…

Not sure why you are getting negged because this is one of the more rational posts here. This message board has gone south lately and if you don't post something irrational and negative, you are using "maize colored glasses."

Michigan would have lost NUMEROUS games the past few seasons without Simpson, but let's all freak out over a loss to a top 10 team after making NO shots in the first half.
