| 1 year 18 weeks ago | FWIW.... |
CMU has more than 2 players active. (Brown, Staley, Jenkins, Gordy, Zombo, Hartmann) I think that's all. |
| 1 year 21 weeks ago | 2 that come to mind are... |
LeFevour and Joe Staley were 2 from CMU who both recruited and played under Kelly at Central. |
| 1 year 21 weeks ago | i do remember |
reading somewhere that USC would really look into suing the NCAA if Ohio did not receive worse/similar santctions that they did. Would love to see how that turns out... |
| 1 year 22 weeks ago | 1. I don't care about |
1. I don't care about professional basketball. 2.With that being said, Stuckey is not a player to build a team around. Guy is a 1/2 guard, neither really. I categorize him as a great 6th man off the bench for a championship contender. Not much more than that |
| 1 year 22 weeks ago | As much as people in Michigan |
As much as people in Michigan hate the Penguins and dislike Crosby, if he does retire or cannot play at the highest level anymore, this is truly a sad moment for hockey. I'm not one to say he was the next Wayne or anything, but he could be the closest thing we will ever see to a true phenom on the ice. All feelings aside of who I root for, this is not what I wanted to see happen with the young man. Hopefully if he does retire he will still stay a part of the NHL and promote helmet safety and the risks and symptoms of concussions to coaches and athletes around the world. It would be a shame for him to fall back into nothing. |
| 1 year 25 weeks ago | I'm looking to get 2. Want to |
I'm looking to get 2. Want to sell me some of the ones you just bought if you don't need them? Hopefully same price/not too much higher. Looking to go to my first Michigan game. My email is marck1nd@cmich.edu if your looking to sell. Thanks. |
| 1 year 26 weeks ago | Althought the MAC is getting |
Althought the MAC is getting some good publicity, it's really sad to see the lack of attnedance at these games. While they are on weeknights and most season ticket holders do not attend, it's pretty sad that the student section doesn't even show up. I go to CMU and we're dangerously close to being below averaging 15,000 people per game this year (D1 limit). Last weeks game against Ohio was pathetic at how many students and fans in general showed up. The coverage is great, but realy hurts attendance numbers. |

already has 2 losses. Only one in conference so far. |
| 1 year 30 weeks ago | better yes, not legit. |
There toughest road win the past 3 years now has been at Penn State last year (they weren't that good). The team has played very well at home under Dantonio, but not well on the road and the schedule has set up for them very nicely these past 2 years. Last year no OSU and Wisconsin and Notre Dame at home. This year, Wisconsin at home with 2 tough road trips to Nebraska and Iowa. Lets wait for the verdict until those games are over. |
| 1 year 35 weeks ago | on a side note... |
One of my professors recently brought up the fact that he thinks the power conferences that are inevitable will break away from the NCAA and create a separate league claiming that they will no longer need to NCAA to bring in major amounts of money, and even paying players their stipened amount. Thoughts? I think it's an interesting point and have yet to even consider this at the point. The conferences then could go playoff system, paying players, etc. and create their own governing system really creating another division in major college sports. |
| 1 year 40 weeks ago | the best part about it (or |
the best part about it (or worst) is that there actually brown. A few years ago they just decided to do away with it for the most part and replace it with black |
| 1 year 40 weeks ago | I have also heard that |
I have also heard that Pitt/WVU could potentially be a package deal. IMO I wouldn't mind seeing some "lesser" teams to expand the BIG 10 out. Kansas, 'Cuse, VaTech, and Virginia in my mind would be ideal. All solid universities and this would expand the BIG 10 from Kansas to the DC area. Kansas and 'Cuse are solid with basketball, VaTech and Virginia for football (obviously virginia is not a huuge name but VaTech is a very successful ACC team). |

what's the deal with wormley not being included? overhyped?
EDIT: not being included on the 250. |
| 2 years 2 weeks ago | I'm not an umpire, but I'm |
I'm not an umpire, but I'm fairly certain that if your feet are in fair territory, even if the ball is in foul it is an out. However this may only apply with fly balls and not ground balls. I really did not provide any insight. Best of Luck. |
| 2 years 3 weeks ago | As everyone else, I would ike |
As everyone else, I would ike the Lions to take Prince. If not though, I would really like to get JJ Watt. Not only is he a great player but a great person. Yes, DLine is a strength on the team, but Avril is a free agent and Vanden Bosch can't be around for too much longer (nobody knows how he will come back after the neck surgery). Watt and Suh would solidify our DLine for years to come. |

| 2 years 5 weeks ago | Bonds was an unbelievable |
Bonds was an unbelievable ball player. His personality has been blown out up because of his success followed quickly by his downfall. People are right when they say that it is a witch hunt. I don't see how Bonds gets convicted of anything due to the lack of evidence supplied by the government. It really is hard to tell how many people "cheated" during that time period, but I would guess upwards of 70-85% of the players. People have a hard time looking at that era and seperating it from other eras. Are his numbers inflated because of steroids? yes. were 70-85% of other players as well? most likely. He was a hall of famer before he hit all those home runs and should be one despite taking steroids. |
| 2 years 6 weeks ago | I think you play the best |
I think you play the best that you can, and whatever results you get, you get. I for one would much rather play Nashville in the 1st round than Chicago/Anaheim. I know we have played pretty poorly against Nashville, but those teams have game changers that can be scary come playoff time. Nashville, not so much. #CANTWAIT |

Central has a club hockey team. Went to Nationals this year. Did not do too well. |
| 2 years 8 weeks ago | I wouldn't say... |
that Trey had a very nice season. Although his line is decent, he folded in big games and continued to turn the ball over/miss free throws. Something he has always struggled with. Not sure if he will get the development he could have at a different University. He saved his dad's job for a few years though that's for sure. |
| 2 years 11 weeks ago | I believe that would be |
I believe that would be because over the past few years Boston has spent just as much as the Yankees and really are finally competing with them in payroll |
