I tend to agree with you. I think Darboh and Butt will be solid. Beyond those two I expect one of Chesson, Canteen, Cole or Bunting to break out in a BIG way due to a solid QB and OL.
This guy has it right. I'm a student now, but back when I was in high school and I'd go to games with my dad we would park far away from the Big House, near the hospital. That way you could walk through central campus and down state street with the huge crowds. I loved that walk and the overall atmosphere.
An added bonus was that when the game was over you didn't have to wait in ridiculous traffic. You could pretty much jump right on the highway.
I really like these designs for the most part, with the exception of the UNC and Georgetown design with the big logo right above the numbers. Placing the block M there wouldn't look good in my opinion.
Denard figure looks fantastic. While I don't have one main hobby I dabble in a few different ones. I enjoy both golfing and disc golfing with friends. Used to enjoy sports video games a lot although that has decreased in recent years as I've become more busy with school/work. I also enjoy learning about all areas of poli sci as well, whether it's reading or watching videos.
At least last year, 124 was writing about The Iliad and The Odyssey. I don't know about your daughter, but most hate this class from what I hear. Would recommend 125 over 124. PoliSci 140 with Inglehart was very interesting and not too hard. Also look into taking a first year seminar. They are easy but still 3 credits usually. There are seminars on tons of topics, so finding one that interests her would be easy.
Adding to this, the crystal balls came from two Duke insiders, an Ohio State insider and a Kansas insider... The prediction of the Kansas insider specifically is very interesting. Here's hoping good news is on the horizon.
I'm 19, a freshman at UofM currently. As soon as I had a license I spent my summers working about 30 hours a week, and then drinking and smoking too much weed with my friends whenever I wasn't working. But hey, I turned out just fine. It really just depends on the kid and their personality in my opinion.
Haha that's awesome man. Had no idea it was that easy. Other than not having its own dining hall there honestly isn't a single bad thing about it. Love it here.
I find Proquest extremely helpful for my purposes. It's not free however it's included in my cost of tuition. I'm pretty sure Jstor is the same so if you have access to Jstor I'm hopeful you'd have access to Proquest as well.
Student making the voyage.... Not going to the game but I will be tailgating for sure. Not sure how this one's going to go... We'll have to wait and see
I only got to the front of the crowd when he was talking towards the end of his spiel, but from what I heard he told everyone that it would be much more effective to go to a meeting that I believe was the board of regents meeting to voice their concerns, told the students the time and date. Not sure exactly if it was the board of regents meeting specifically but it was something like that.
No problem. It wasn't very publicized so I had a feeling not many students knew. The short version is 6 points for being 30+ minutes early and 3 points for showing up at all. AD counts your 6 highest scored games and that is what determines seating order for next season.
For the most part I had a very fun time at the game, but I would probably expect that from any student who is often on the blog as they are probably bigger fans of the team and the game as a whole. I know a lot of students left as early as halftime, but the main reason for that was the heat, so hopefully that isn't something we'll see in the future. But overall a pleasant experience.
As far as students arriving early is concerned, I can say the only reason I was there on time was because of the new policy regarding points and next years tickets. Bonus points are awarded for showing up 30 minutes early or more that go towards better seating for next year. Can honestly say otherwise I probably would've been there around kickoff or a little later. I plan on getting to every game 30+ minutes early this year so I can be near the front for next year's games, specifically MSU and OSU. However I'm not sure if all students are aware of the new policy.
Man City Fan here. My mom is and has been a big fan for a while, long before their first title a couple years back, and as a result I am too. I see them finishing somewhere in the top 2 this season. Hopefully Aguero can stay healthy
Anyone on the board a current or past student of the sports management program at Michigan? That's what I'll be heading into this year and I'd love to pick someone's brain who has some experience with it.
I received the 2014 football calendar, a really nice Michigan hoodie, and most importantly, my acceptance letter from UofM!(got that one a few days early) All in all a great holiday
The biggest difference is that in basketball losses are common and one wont kill you. In football, one loss can be crippling. Playing the SEC every year would hurt the B1G chances at making the playoff dramatically.
It was remarkable. Seeing Big Ben and Hines Ward was cool, although it didn't make much sense because it was New York. Regardless it was amazing, top 5 best movies I've ever seen.
No, he had corrected the auto pilot so the plane flew itself out with the bomb while he escaped. What I don't understand is why he allowed everyone to think he was dead? Any one?
Enjoying this nice summer day being young and not yet having to worry about the real world. Not yet, anyway. Going to go out this evening with some friends and some fireworks and engage in random hoodrat activities. You're only young once, right?
Just finishing up this half day of school(10 minutes left) before I get to go home/go out with friends and relax. Unfortunately I still have an entire week to go after this one:(

That very well may be true, I'll have to look into that
