I have a rule that I will only drink summer shandy if its 70 or above. It's a Summer Shandy day here.
Do you break the rulez?
I will only drink shandy if my own urine sitting in a bucket on the porch that has frozen, thawed, re-frozen, and then thawed once more, but not before being populated by various fly larvae is the only other option.
On the other hand, those must be some really damn good beans.
You should Google Koala penis. Then you'll be creeped out.
I'm freaking out over here man...

loves beans, too.
...and so does this guy:
Ugh still at work, but have a Guinness, Oberon and Short's Stroker Ace waiting for me in the fridge.
One has a Java Stout, and the other is an English Ale at the moment. The fruits of an employee who also brews beer on the side.
My office has THREE kegs.
My office has THREE kegs.
six?
Sunshine and warm out finally, so I'm starting the weekend with an Oberon.
I only drink backwoods bastard
I am at my kids' school waiting to pick 4 giddy 6th graders...so currently water is good...but I'll probably pop a Stone Delicious IPA in about an hour. Then a Mother Earth Kismet is in the fridge too, so that will be my big Friday night.
Are you a Iight sleeper or a heavy sleeper?
Sour Salty Delicious
About to eat this brisket
Say what you really feel
even though my doctor would kill me for ingesting enough sodium, fat, and cholesterol to kill me.
Good news, the FDA just came out and said dietary cholesterol has nothing to do with blood cholesterol.
Well played. One of the biggest myths perpetuated long after it was disproven. Same with the fat always = bad dogma.

I knew that 1/2 lb bacon and 3 eggs every morning wasn't so bad.

You are not wasting any time! Where is the Q from? Or did you take today off and make it?
Started it last night, worked from home.
Nuthin' But Oberon. 75+ in south-central Wisconsin. Flowering bushes are showing color. Tulips are poking through the soil. I'll be tipping an Oberon (or two) with dinner tonight.
Warm-climate folks just won't understand. IT'S F#*@#$ING SPRING!
I'm currently still at the office, but at least I'm drinking a Rock & Rye. You can brag all you want about your adult beverages you're getting to enjoy already, but if you're a true Michigander, you'll know that my beverage wins.
Question: anyone know about an underground (or above) distribution network for Faygo products in the Mid-Atlantic region? Same goes for Vernors, which I have only found a couple times around DC.
From what I have heard, if you can find a Sheetz, you can find Faygo. This should also help you out:
http://www.faygo.com/store-locator/
Additionally, if you don't mind overpaying, you can always buy Vernors or Faygo online from Amazon.
Ah, thanks.
it's 5,
and the Tigers just beat the White Sux to go 9-1 for the first time since '84.
So many beer/ale choices.
So many canned bean choices.
Decisions, decisions...
As a Sox fan that game pissed me off. Why Ventura didn't challenge the play at 2nd is going to be on my mind for awhile. He was clearly out.
...I kid, living in Chicago (well the 'burbs now) I find Sox fans way more tolerable the Cubs fans. But, even Dan Dickerson couldn't understand why they didn't ask for a review.
Cubs fans are much worse. So happy that Bryant had 3 K's today to shut them up a bit.
explain himself in the post-game interview?
I listened while driving to the 7th and most of the 8th, then watched starting with the final batter of the Tiger 8th through to the game-winning run. Having missed the first 6, I initially assumed that Ventura had already used up his one challenge unsuccessfully earlier and couldn't challenge in the 9th; that turned out not to have been the case.
Definitely a head-scratcher.
When my wife gets home, we head to Dominick's for sangria on the first perfect Friday in A2 in 2015.
Have a few Revolution Anti-Hero waiting for me at home. One of the few beers I don't mind drinking from a can.
there are lots of great beers in cans, 21st Amendment, kelso, dales, even founders
Bud Light and Oberon. All. Summer. Long.

The weekend starts now!
Well, I managed to get home in time to enjoy some of the afternoon - pizza night, so we ordered that, and I went for a nice walk / run and now am sitting on my porch with the laptop and a Guinness, the first of many such beers tonight as it is Friday. I might catch up on Orphan Black in anticipation of the season premiere tomorrow too.
a shot of McCallans 12 year old to end the work week.
I'm drinking a blended malt Johnny walker black. Enjoy!
Glenmorangie and a cigar on a great spring night in NOVA.

for me this evening!
Sitting on the porch drinking a nice Natty Light
Cherry wheat. Probably more of a winter beer technically but tastes good to me on a spring night.
Nice bottle of Chianti awaits the lady and I before we hit the town.
May have some fava beans to go with it later.
