Popular Mechanics doesn't even know what a cupcake is anymore, ever since they banished MIMI, my favorite feature:

Unfortunately, this is the way media works these days. Find whatever person or topic is hot, and just keep mentioning over and over and over. It doesn't matter if there's nothing new to present--just rehash what's already known. Harbaugh is hot, probably as much due to OSU and MSU fans who seem more obsessed with him than Michigan fans.
And don't you know if for some reason Michigan wins fewer than 8 or 9 games this year, those very same media types who have been hyping Harbaugh will wring their hands in feigned concern, wondering if Harbaugh hadn't hyped himself so much, the team would have had more success.

There's also the issue that there iscprobably greater dropoff from first to second unit with the OL than any other unit, so I expect Morris was seeing more pressure and more quickly than Rudock was dealing with.

All false except 7 & 10. And if you want honesty, I think we could all agree that if no. 10 ends up being true, we really wouldn't care so much about any of the others.

The second team for me is Oklahoma State University. Two children have graduated from there and I've gone to a few of their games, including one bowl game. But, they are so far behind Michigan in terms of my fandom that I hesitate to even call them my second favorite. Then behind Okie State is Michigan State. I have a daughter who graduated from there as well.

Those getting bent out of shape by the jokes about French fighting prowess should probably just skip my post.
Why did the French build the Arc de Triomphe?
So the German soldiers would have shade.
Why did the French build the Arc de Triomphe so tall?
So the Germans could see the white flag from a distance.

Well, and that's the thing. We still don't really know what happened, what the trainers and medical staff were doing during this. But all Brandon had to do was act like a leader and accept blame. There was a breakdown that should not have occurred, he is taking responsibility and they are working on new procedures /structures / ideas / ways of communicating that will ensure this sort of occurrence doesn't happen again. He doesn't have to throw anyone under the bus, single out any individual or group--just step up and own it and say your working on changing. And it doesn't take upteen hours to write.

Or, maybe the medical staff screwed something up and were just covering their asses. I know the default answer is that Brandon is an asshole and he's just trying to cover his ass, but if that's the case, why was he so insistent that Morris agree to release ofhis medical information? Wouldn't release of that information just make Hoke and the athletic department look worse? But, if there were anything amiss or questionable in the medical report, Brandon could shift at least some of the blame away from the athletic department. We're just assuming the medical staff was taking a noble and principled stance.

I'm not entirely sure whether Boise did everything they should have or not. The Baylor football coaches, athletic director, and whoever is in charge of investigating student affairs, the Waco police, and the Waco sports reporters, though, sure seem to have done everything (or not done anything as the case may be) to minimize this alleged rape. The school certainly appears to care far more about winning football games than investigating rape charges or ensuring safety for female students.

I'm a fan of the submarine and the lack of specifics in answers. I'll convert a quote from Otto von Bismarck (who was talking about laws): football teams are like sausages, it is better not to see them being made.

Some of those season tickets were likely bought by Michigan fans. I know at least one poster here said that's what he did to make sure he had tickets to the game.

So this pos father of her son victimized the family by abusing the daughters then victimized them again by using their house as collateral for bond and (I presume) violating conditions of his bond. I hope he rots in jail.

Some of the older parts of Nebraska's stadium are terrifying when the fans do their jump around. I remember the Michigan fans looking at each other and asking the quality of their structural engineering program because the way the stadium was undulating.

I really can't think of any other fanbase that is as conflicted as State fans by the the question of what would make them happier: seeing their own team succeed or their rival stumble.

2012 Sugar Bowl which was a blast. 2014 Cotton Bowl (Missouri over Oklahoma State). In that game, Missouri had two 6'4" senior receivers and 6'6" sophomore Dorial Green- Beckman. All three are now in the NFL. It really did look like men playing against boys.

At least one of the local SF sportswriters seems to be cozying up to the York, Balke, and Tomsula. He has a recent story critical of Harbaugh's coaching style and postulating that Tomsula is a better teacher. It's no big deal if they want to fluff up Tomsula's reputation, but the attempt at discrediting Harbaugh in the process was unneccessary and just made it read more like something telegraphed from York to cover his ass. And it isn't really fooling anyone with more than a passing knowledge of football and the 49ers in the past several years.

I was a grad student and TA during George's year at Purdue and knew one of his instructors. I'm not so sure about his transfer, but if his attitude on the field was anything like that in the class, he fits the bill. And from what I heard, his mother was even worse and felt the need to helicopter in to protect her precious offspring at every perceived slight. I can only imagine how much fun it would be to recruit someone like that.
