My money is on Kate Upton. I want to see her Dougie on the sidelines for the next 4-5 years. |

you could have 24, maybe round up to 25 for the first year and 3 every year after that. The top 25 vote getters by percent (assuming they would be eligible by the sliding scale that Brian has set up), should be the first to get in. What about a dedicated website, or wiki page that captures the voting history of each athlete and how they stack up to their peers?

Please read Seth's post about this on December 13th. Very rarely do you get a clear cut two team playoff and this year was no different. In the last 14 years on the BCS (not including this year), there are an average of 5 to 6 "contenders" to finish the season (defined as undefeated BCS and non-BCS teams and one loss BCS teams.) You say that had Oklahoma St, Stanford and Boise State won they would have earned the right to play for the BCS National Championship. The issue with that scenario is you then have four undefeated teams. Now what? You still have the same argument about who should play for the national championship. The regular season matters to the teams at the top of the polls. No one but the top two teams will get a shot at the national championship unless one of them loses, and then it's the #3 team in line. It's all a big crock and it won't get fixed until the BCS realizes that there are one too many letters in their name and make some changes for the better of college football fandom. |

If Boise doesn't win the MWC and got picked as an at large, they would still close the year with wins against four of the best teams in the country. I still think that would be a pretty impressive resume that not many people could argue with. |

If you ain't first, you're last, unless you're second, then you still might be first. |
