if you eat a steak and drink some whole milk each night for dinner and document the walk with a video blog each night Harbaugh will let you play on the punt team.

...

yeah, a bus is more affordable than flying to Jerryworld but it's probably still a little early to leave now. You'll probably have to camp out for a while and put up with Zeke everyday when he's going in for his workouts. I mean, doesn't sound like much fun.

...

Step 1 is to beat Harbaugh in Madden so that he knows you're legit. He's got a sign up sheet outside his office.

Changing his UFR grade to a letter grade would depend on the conversion from lollipops to rainbows.

they're declaring for the draft early and that's a lesson in senior year

hmmm

25 + 25 = 44.75. I learned something tonight.

Devon

Devin threw touchdowns. Devon threw interceptions.

Interesting timing though...

I wonder how it shakes out with Alabama and if he coaches in the CFP.

me too

broke mine when I was in high school and I had to wear the back-pack style brace under my clothes. I was also in a sling for 1-2 weeks but mine was broken into two pieces. At least the lack of a sling indicates that, if there's a break, it's not that bad of a break.

hmmm

"I trust Harbaugh completly... except when I don't"

interesting take on trust.

what a morning

Made a latte, got Sportscentre on, making some tacos and guac in a bit, making a run to the Beer Store once it opens to pick up whatever floats my boat. I can't wait for noon.

hmm

as long as "he's way too young" doesn't mean that I'm old

Seek and Destroy...

"Seek and Destroy" but the song isn't Seek and Destroy? Minus some points right off the bat.

it'll be a pretty happening bar at 4:30am

and to add to it: how many bad teams produce a bunch of NFL talent?

Helmet stickers?

I may have missed this elsewhere but something that will be more noticeable once we finally get to watch football this year: Are they planning on using helmet stickers this year? If yes, do we know if they plan on making them smaller than last year?

...

You made your avatar with a guy that doesn't have an interception or a sack?

love the white pants

I love the white pants. It's a good, clean look. With that said, if we're going to get any Nike uniformz for a bowl game or something I'm sure it will be with the away uni and I'd imagine it will involve maize pants.

I agree 100%

but maybe this early it's too soon to be labelling guys as 1 or 2? (in the spirit of healthy competition for starting jobs you don't want those #1 guys getting content?)

yes

Yes, I sure did and it was very promising. I would even say that it was exciting. But did you not watch the Ohio State game? Because we got stuffed again and again. And again. See how problematic it can be when you form an opinion from one game?

good to hear

but I'm still in the 'wait and see' mode. After the run game we've seen the last few years I won't believe some spring practice hype. However, it's better than hearing someone say that the run game looks like it needs work...

not quite...

I think EVERYBODY in Tampa Bay expects him to stay

yes.

yes.

whoosh

whoosh

so...

Okorn might be better than Ruddock but at the same time O'Korn might be better than Rudock?

gosh...

The semis on New Year's Eve is still awful. I don't know why they can't grasp that.

The early game is pretty awesome. I could get behind it with 12pm and 3:30pm starts but by the time 7-8pm rolls around they automatically lose a large percentage of their audience.

yeah?

I heard that Player A put on 10lbs and that's good.

I also heard that Player B lost 10lbs and that's good too.

#springball

^this

People need to stop trying to define him. It's totally fine to have 10 guys in regular positions and then the Pepperbacker wherever he's needed.

good thing

Good thing Ways caught that ball or we'd be screwed.

obviously

Grammar nazis only understand one thing and it isn't sarcasm.

hmmmm

Normally I couldn't care less so I probably shoud have ignored it. #thatguy

Cool

Cool story Hansel

?

RED QUARTERBACK?

but...

but what if your twitter handle contains "Insider"?

and yet

that still makes him wild card. How's he going to perform at Michigan? How's he going to perform under Harbaugh? Will he even be the starter? Can he carry the offensive load if the running game struggles? Can he manage a game without turnovers? Can he be a leader on the offense? Will he be respected by his teammates? How does he rebound after making a mistake? How composed is he playing @MSU or @OSU?

if

- IF the running game steps up

- IF there's exception QB play

- IF there's good LB play

- IF the new DC does a good job

- IF the new Special Team's coordinator does a good job.

If those 'ifs' worked out for ANY team in the country wouldn't they be a pretty solid team?

Now, I'm not stupid. The 2016 Michigan team will have a lot of potential. It will have more seniors than it has seen in recent years. It will have better offensive and defensive lines than it has seen in recent years. They will also be breaking in a new QB and Defensive Coordinator. I don't have any reason to believe these areas will struggle or be detriments to the team but it's dangerous to assume that they'll be all stars right off the bat. Look at how good Rudock was at the end of the year... and look at how mediocre he looked @ Utah. Harbaugh will Harbaugh and Michigan will keep getting better. I just happen to hold the opinion that if you hope for Michigan to win a NC next year you're going to be dissappointed. @ MSU, @ OSU, and they add Iowa and Wisconsin from the other division. I'm not saying it's impossible and I'd be estatic if they proved me 'wrong'. I just prefer to be a bit more realistic and hope for a national level team in 2-3 years.

hmm

and Meyer has been there for a number of years to have his recruits/players in place. Hoping that they won't re-load is false hope, in my opinion. I think it's much more logical to be patient and wait for Michigan to get better than to hope for Ohio State to fall off and get worse.

OSU

While I fully admit that Michigan has come a long way and they're still going in the right direction... it hasn't even been two months since OSU whiped the floor with Michigan. Still a long way to go in my opinion. They'll get there but it won't be over night.

well...

you can't talk about the same topic in two different places. Everything on the interenet should have its proper place. What would we do if there were two places to talk about this Durkin guy? How would we follow both conversations? Would the world collapse? Better shame everyone just in case.

Wait...

I'm hearing Oakland is still in play

don't

don't blow it off either though... we certainly don't have another 60 goal scorer available.  Those don't grow on trees.  There's a reason he still made the team despite having a broken leg and that's because he brings something to the table that no one else in the country does.

??

Errrrrrr St Louis plays the wing, not center.  And it was pretty well thought that Stamkos was penciled in to play the wing on Crosby's line.

...

"YOU ARE!!!"  "PENN STATE!!!"  ...obviously has nothing to do with Michigan but college sports has a different feel.  When you're on campus and in the stadium it's perfectly natural to feel like you're a part of something.  People need to realize this and move on.  I didn't go to Michigan but my Dad has had season tickets since I was 5 (29 now).  I went to school in a different country.  I don't relate to anything accademically but the football team is special to me.  All those Saturdays with my Dad are still special to me.  It means something to me.

???

At the end when he's talking about how intimidating it is for opposing teams to see Michigan's helmets in the tunnel before running out to touch the banner  ....buuuuuuut Michigan always runs out first and then the opposing team comes out??  Some odd things in this article.

but but but...

7 days ago Borges was a genius...a god amongst men.  He couldn't do any wrong.  ...now we suck?  People get too high and people get too low.  It sucked to watch but Michigan still won.  Dust yourselves off and we'll all forget it by Saturday night.

It doesn't translate when the

It doesn't translate when the TE keeps trying to play QB.

I agree.  Gardner has great potential and great physical abilities but listen to anyone that knows anything about quarterbacking and they'll tell you how much of it is mental.  Without looking at the stats I think he's still throwing an interception per game... I know he's got 3 already this year.  There's no questioning the physical abilites or his ceiling but he needs to time to get experience and learn how to cut down on his miscues.  ...maybe that happens in one full season as the starter but I think he'd be wise to stick around for 2.  It'll only help him in the long run.
