22 hours 17 min ago	From what I've seen...	It seems like they want him at DE.  They have told their other TE targets that they are full there, so I would assume that's where he gets his first look.  Who knows though, maybe they get him on campus and he is too good on offense to ignore.

You mean the fine print that everyone scrolls through without reading so they can get to the "I Agree to Terms" checkbox?  Frankly, I don't care, and I'm going to sleep soundly tonight knowing that my integrity is solid as a rock.  If I'm paying that kind of money for information (I'm not), I'll tell whoever I see fit, and the proprietors of that information are dumb to think they have any kind of power over that.  Sure, Brian shouldn't be plastering that information all over the front page word for word, but if some rando wants to spill the beans on a message board so be it.  Furthermore, if someone who subscribes to a pay site feels cheated that someone shared their expensive, privileged information then tough cookies.  Shouldn't have wasted a bunch of money to be the first to hear some recruiting rumor that will inevitably go public about 3.2 seconds later.

It's information, and it spreads.  To expect that it's going to stay super secret because you charge someone a shitload of money for it is ridiculous.  In my opinion, nobody should feel bad about relaying information they read there.  If this undercuts the business model of pay sites, then they need a new business model as far as I'm concerned.
2 days 22 hours ago	Weird.	How can we be 6th in ERA... and 26th in runs allowed?  Is our ERA calculated for our starters only, or does 26th in runs mean that we've given up the 26th MOST amount of runs?

I think it's somewhat, dare I say, "telling," that while Cornwell is rated the #1 pro-style QB in the country by ESPN, he didn't get an offer from Oklahoma despite growing up in Norman.  The fact that they chose another local guy, Justice Hansen, says a lot to me considering that they probably evaluated both of them very closely.  Also, this year seems like a pretty down year for elite quarterbacks, no?

6 days 17 hours ago	Hah.	How bizarre is that.  Lawrence Frank goes from being fired as the head coach of the Nets and Jason Kidd... to being an assistant coach for the Nets underneath Kidd.  Interesting turn of events.
6 days 17 hours ago	Ballsy move.	It's all kinds of risky, but I imagine it speaks to the respect he has among his peers.  Still, hiring a guy as a head coach literally months from his last game is quite a leap no matter how you look at it.

1 week 3 hours ago	Close call...	But Cleveland to Ann Arbor should be far enough north to avoid the worst of it. If you do decide to drive... please please please monitor as you go, because storms will be possible over a very large area today... including along the I-80 corridor.

The worst weather will likely stay south of the Ann Arbor area... but if you live in Eastern Iowa, Northern Illinois (including Chicago), Northern Indiana and NE Ohio, get ready for some nasty straight line winds. The worst tornado/hail threat will likely be across eastern Iowa and NW Illinois, and earlier in the afternoon, since storms will probably turn into a line quickly after they form... something that isn't great for tornadoes.

It is absolutely hilarious to me that this guy would rather lose an entire year of playing time than play for Notre Dame.  It would be one thing if the kid could just count that first season as a redshirt year and get four years of potential playing time afterward... but no... he only gets three years to play.
3 weeks 17 hours ago	From Byron, MI	That was posted by the NWS in Gaylord, although it occured in the forecast area of the Pontiac NWS near Byron, MI (SW of Flint).  It's tough to say with 100% certaintly that it's touching the ground, as there are some trees obscuring the view, but I would say that it's very very likely.  Tough to say exactly what time this picture was taken, but it was clearly several hours ago.

Scholarship pulled because a dude put rap videos online?  That doesn't make any sense, and if it is true, I think it is an excuse to get rid of a guy they may have regretted offering in the first place.  That is a "son, you need to remove the videos and run stadium steps" kind of offense, not a scholarship removal.

Dude has an offer, but I haven't seen anything about this guy.  I'm assuming he is a Buckeye lock and/or hasn't shown much interest?  Thought it was relevant given that he is a 6'3" linebacker out of Ohio, and it seems like a guy the coaches would be pushing hard for.

I admittedly took one look at the dude, and stuck him at WDE in this scenario.  I could be wrong, since I know nothing about watching film, but he seemed like he had a long ways to go to get big enough for the SDE spot.  Who knows though... Frank Clark is now 275 lbs.

Lawrence Marshall - WDE (Take THAT, Magnus) DeShawn Hand - SDE Malik McDowell - 3T DT (dude is almost 300 lbs) Bryan Mone - NT Not only does this work out just fine as listed, Hand, McDowell and Mone offer enough individual versatility that they could rotate positions and offer a lot of different looks.  Taking 4 DL in a small class might be a bit excessive but whateva.

All I'm saying is that the decision should be with the player, not the coaches.  I don't think there is anything wrong with saying "Hey, kid.  We just don't think you've got the ability to ever play meaningful snaps here.  You're welcome to stay on the team for the full four years, but if you want playing time your best option might be to transfer."
